GO LIONS, GO!! For most of my life watching the CFL, the BC Lions have been my favorite CFL team! I used to think that if I had ever gotten an opportunity to return to Canada and I could have seen a football game, British Columbia is where I'd like to go. But now that I am 62 years old and not in the best of health, it's probably not going to happen. The highlights will just have to do. Being on a fixed income doesn't allow me to do to much. But I will ALWAYS BE a BC LIONS fan and definitely a CFL fan all the way from Detroit, Michigan!! (The last time I was in Canada, I was with my ex-wife in Niagara Falls!
As an American, I just want to say that this is damn good football! I pulled for Montreal as they are my #2 team and my team in the East. Plus, if they had won, it would help the Bombers, my #1.
Nice to see BC wake up after the embarrassment of last week. And credit to Montreal. They played well, but BC;s defense was that much better, keeping them to mainly field goals.
8:27 Commentator nailed it! When you get the ball, catch it and TUCK IT IN! Otherwise it can come lose as it did to this BC player (and Montreal guy before too who should have catch the ball!).
When was the last time the CFL played a regular season game on a Sunday? Loved how good a fight Montreal put up and never quit despite the points deficit. BC has a lot of talent that’s going to take them far this season.
the performance of the offensive line is alarming but I think Jason Maas will have to make some adjustments to his playbook because the diamond pistol formation should be removed if I was in Maas' place because I find the offensive line mixed up and I think the reason for their success is that they played in a simple system like Khari Jones but I think Jason should simplify because I think on quarterback sneaks we should bring Worthy or Mack on the move with the threat of the jet sweep to give creativity to go looking for pieces of land and so the teams will have to watch the player on the move and Fajardo will become a big threat with his legs but I think Jason should come back with simple concepts for Stanback to regain his confidence and limit a bit of option plays because it gets confusing for the offensive line so simplifying the blocking patterns for the carrier is the thing to do and I think letting Calvillo and play selection might not be a bad idea and letting Calvillo do it the adjustments since he's OC and it worked last year so I think Jason should recognize what's wrong with his offensive system.
I watched the game off and on last night so I wanted to watch the recap. One thing the recap missed was all the penalties that Montreal took costing them not only yards but TDs. It would have been a closer game, maybe even a win if Montreal had a bit of discipline.
Rate the best defences in the CFL at this time of year.BC Lions 1 a then Montreal 1b ,Winnipeg #2,Toronto #3.My read is Montreal has a better defence than Winnipeg so far this season.🏈🏈🏈🏈may not show in the win loss record but Montreal’s defence is a tough defence for opposing teams to play against
@@davidrivera9743 yeah Montreal lost but did have a chance to turn it around. Not just due to the opening I mentioned in this post, although I was upset as I picked BC to win, but overall as by 4th quarter, it was possible.
Is there any way to watch CFL without the field advertisements? It's distracting and cheapens the league, makes it seem like handball or some other minor sport, which is a shame given the quality of play.
@Forgivenessorlove The execution of the virtual ads is clumsy, overwhelming visually, and aesthetically ugly. It diminishes the impression of the product to minor league/secondary sport level, which it doesn't deserve. It's lazy execution by TSN and the firm they've hired. It doesn't have to be that way and it wasn't always that way. Would I pay to see CFL with no virtual ads? Yes.

Fields Goals get you beat. Their fate was sealed by mid 3rd quarter.
LETS GO LIONS
They are looking great
Good bounce back game from Adams. The Als put up a good fight.

theyve had them alot this year :) i think they end just before the NFL starts though :)
You right. No way the CFL can compete with the NFL on Sundays.
i love this BC Lions Football Club! so glad they bounced back!!
Well looks like Montreal had a better chance somewhat but BC win overall.
This week, 4 games, and I picked all the winners :)
Have to say this looks good on Fajardo.
Leos looking good.
Fun game.
GG's boys!
4:08 ish
Phew... A great block by BC D and needed TD in return.
Montreal could have made it 14-13 if they got the FG instead...
3:40 u can hear the whole crowd (I was there) yelling throw Throw THROW

Fortunately the refs took it back, but what a fucked up start it almost was! My gawd!
Hopefully BC QB woke up!
Maybe. Not as many forced throws but still very fortunate to win

Why does this BC qb don’t like throwing to his check downs on regular when the big plays are not there smh

That first play is a terrible call! barely had a finger touching him! feel like that changes the way thegame goes.
Right! I was looking Def pass interference, nothing. When did illegal contact become a thing?
