Bro XYZ is definitely the best and could even be part of the adventures manga as it also has many creative strategies and champions appearing along with ash and alain fighting champions and elite 4 and also when the 7th gym leader who has two psychic pokemons told about ash's great purpose and 8th gym battle probably has the best build up ever and 7th gym battle was damn good as well. Kalos league and its animation was peak and it has the best evil team and leader even when we compare it to the manga lysandre would still be top 5 for sure and the final arc and greeninja leaving was just perfection, no way any season comes close though second place definitely goes to sinnoh or sun and moon depending on your preference.
For me sun and moon is also good. Aside from ash design the story line is peak, the moment when the trainers use z move it look so cool. I like how in this series it also focus on other characters and their backstory. If there is someone who haven't watch this series I would recommend to pls watch it. It's worth.

For me Pokémon sun and moon is the best series because in this series ash became the champion and got his first mythical Pokémon and an ultra beast and his first gimmick also the storyline was awesome.
