13:07 Exactly because I’ve met her before and she was so sweet. I saw her walking to her seat at a Monica concert, I walked over and asked her if I can take a pic. She told me wait till after the concert over. (I thought to my self.. yeah okay 🙄) but after the concert I was standing in the hall and she walked over and said “hey boo. Let’s take our pic!” 😍😍😍

African American are not the only people who are black.Alot of puertoricans are mixed with african blood and The Culture of Africa and blackness is more connected in puertorico with bomba music due to the trans Atlantic slave trade in puertorico which is bigger in Latin America and the carribbean than america!. Jocelyn,
To hear you talk so proudly about what you learned in college at the HBCU about Black history was so delightful. It reminded me of my college days and all the wonderful African-American history, related laws and Civil Rights movement details I learned about in my Africana studies classes. I am proud of how excited you were to learn. You should consider going ahead, getting your GED and going back to college.

Between this and the Drink Champs interview I actually have gained SOOO much respect for Joseline. She's actually very smart, had a rough childhood that some people couldn't escape from and she's open minded to listen if you come with good intentions. I love that she heard NORE out and changed her perspective. I adore her pride in being a black woman. The addiction for her came from many generations before her (lost her father from it) and I just pray that she gets stronger, healthier, and continues to prosper! This was another great Puerto Rican Princess interview

There is a few variables to what happened in college hill which in my opinion was a showcase of colorism to the nth degree. First of all Joseline was right. Amber keeps singing this song and dance about being mixed, a song and dance that many black people are tired of hearing about. Its nothing new. Some mix people keep telling us their struggle but will never go to the people who are responsible for their conflict of identity in the first place because that group wont tolerate it or allow them to do so. So they come to us acting like we are the problem and acting this is something new when we been hearing about this for nearly two centuries now. We are tired of someone mix talking about the struggle because we dealing with the struggle of being black. What is new however is this. Joseline comes from a background where the black identity is covered up and has no voice. In the last century in the states people like joseline was not referred to as being black just latino. Its only in this century that the Afro latino identity is being recognized outside of its culture it comes from. And being acknowledged by the people who has become the epitome of black culture internationally aka black americans. So to be recognized as being black from black america is very important to someone like joseline. So when you have her coming from that type of culture who struggled to be accepted of being black meeting someone like amber who gets a free pass in black spaces complaining about being black it was always going to set her off. Cape Verde and Latin caribbean/america has similar cultures to a degree when it comes to race and how it deals with blackness. The colorism aspect though comes in the form of the HBCU in the show. While they expelled both they treated Amber more sympathetically and Joseline more harshly. Which is no surprise considering the origins of HBCUs and its history of upholding classism and colorism in the community. Also that social media dude who isnt even a real celeb was treating joseline like ish but always hanging around the biracial girls in the house and taking their sides. The ones who treated amber and joseline equally was the core group of celebs who represent normal black america being in the middle dealing with a problem like colorism etc that was imported into america but wanting to make both parties its all love no hard feelings. Something i dont think you guys get credit for. Joseline is right for one thing. She is in touch of her afro latino heritage and in touch of black american culture. Amber is not in touch of her black side which is cape verde, she doesnt speak the language or know the culture. She operates in black american spaces as a white girl unlike joseline who operates as a black girl from another black culture in black american spaces.

Sometimes Josoline gets her words wrong but I knew what she was speaking on. I use to think she was just wild but since drink champs are and the breakfast club I truly see the real her understand her personality more.i can say she a real one.

I love the Puerto Rican Princess from LAH to now❤❤❤ This is what’s up, she is so humanized when she talks about her as a little girl and her daughter! Shoutout to her❤❤❤

If y’all watched joseline since she’s came out, you know how much she’s changed. She seems happy and relaxed. She use to be defensive and hurt. This is what it looks like to have a man you can trust and trust to lead you along with him letting you be you and supporting you while heartily . I love everything for her. I always fw her from the jump

I love my Puerto Rica n brothers, sisters, etc they are so sweet and nice to us when we travel there. They all say they are black and I do too. You are my people as well. 🙏🏾✊🏾✊🏾✊🏾🙏🏾 keep evolving Joseline !

Ugh, i want to like Joseline because i can see the good in her and all she wants is to be loved and successful. I can tell she basically had to fight all her life and she thinks thats the solution to all her problems. Now she is older and she has a child, she has to be held accountable and i hope she gets therapy to heal from the pain in her past .

Definitely agree with you there, I truly believe she's STILL doing drugs and if anyone see that brutal beat down, she was a raging maniac and you could see it in her eyes and behavior, that she was on something more than alcohol and Balistic and Melissa isn't helping her any better. And pleeeeease stop saying you're black!!!

This is a sad example of saying the breakfast club saying positivity & not pushing the destructive agenda. Jocelyn was only asked to appear because she assaulted multiple people including officers and a man that was actually trying to be helpful. L
