Homestuck was/is a very big webcomic, about 8000 pages long, which involves four kids playing a video game that destroys the world in order to create a new one. There's time and dimensional shenanigans and a huge cast of characters (e.g. the grey horned guys are characters from a previous session of the game which created the main characters' universe) , as well as animations, music albums, and the occasional playable minigame involved in the comic. It is often described as a comic which took great advantage of the fact that it was hosted on the internet to add features and interactivity. It was well remembered for the fun cast, good sense of humor the author had, and numerous and interesting shenanigans. Homestuck ran for several years from about 2009 to 2016 and ended in a way which dissappointed many people as the comic sort of got too big for itself, but nontheless it is quite fondly remembered.
