That Regina and Zelena both lost the men they love kills me. Thier hug is beautiful. When Zelena named the baby Robin I was close to tears and then when Hook came back I cried. This episode still 💔
I really hope everyone sees how unfair it is what they did to Regina. Why does she keep getting punished like this when it’s Emma who was supposed to learn the lesson here? Emma was supposed to learn and reap the consequences for her mistakes, not Regina! Regina has suffered enough consequences for her actions. She’s learned her lesson and has become a better person. Emma hasn’t changed at all.
Unfortunately, Sean McGuire decided to leave the show so therefore they had no choice but to kill Robin off, I think that the show writers wanted him to stay and that's why there were a couple more episodes of him as the other Robin to see if he would stay but he decided not too.

Yes I remember that😭😭. I started watching during like season 3. I watched the first season 3 on Netflix. The rest on cable. I remember that exact promo. It pisses me off how Emma got hook back but they couldn’t let Robin survive smh.
Omg yyesss it makes perfect sense. I never saw that promo as I started watching the show on Netflix in 2019. But this was one of my fav episodes and my fav story arcs were Camelot and The UnderWorld together. But anyways judging from how you described the original promo : it will break the heart of storybrooke basically since Regina originally created the town of Storybrooke from the dark curse that makes it her heart. Literally her creation just like a mother birthing a child. So when Robin was killed it did indeed break Regina’s 💔☹️ but also not to forget she’s the mayor of storybrooke…
Season five was both the best and the worst season for me; as a diehard CS fan I suffered tremendously first with Emma being dark, then Hook becoming dark, then Emma killing Hook, then Hook getting tortured, then Emma having to say goodbye to Hook, then Emma crying her eyes out by his grave, then the whole thing of Hook going into the light... Robin dying didn’t help either. Happy Hook came back, but it was such a difficult season to watch emotionally!! However, I honestly believe that as far as writing goes this was one of the best seasons and the storyline of S5 was truly amazing. I was always a huge fan of the brothers Jones back story and it was a lot of fun to see Liam again, the whole thing with Milah, it was so well developed. Keep reacting!

SHE made the “mistake” at the very start of the season by turning Hook into a Dark One. SHE violated his dying wish to let him go and have him die a hero because, and I quote, “THAT’S NOT GOOD ENOUGH FOR (HER!)” Emma turned Hook into a Dark One, and after Hook’s rampage, she then finally “allowed” him to die, only to go to the Underworld because she felt cheated out of having her boy toy around because Rumple took the power back. Or so she claims it was unfair to Hook, but we all know she means it’s unfair to her because down in the Underworld, she risks her whole family for one man. This is her problem, so she should risk herself. And when she does find him, Emma constantly tries to get Hook to forgive himself so he can come back with her, preaching to him like it’s simple to forgive yourself after two lifetimes shrouded in darkness. She didn’t want to truly heal him, she just wanted him back. There is no evidence showing that Emma was doing this for him; she was doing this for her. Like it or not, Liam was telling the harsh truth that Emma acted selfishly from the very beginning. I’ll chalk up the act of turning Hook into a Dark One as an act of panic, but everything after that was completely her own choice. Love is sacrifice and she wasn’t willing to sacrifice for him. She was willing to put herself AND her whole family in danger for him, but what kind of relationship is that when you’re willing to get your whole family killed for one man? We’ve never seen this level of selfishness in this show before. The “villains” of the show own their selfish and cruel behavior, but Emma claims her selfishness as an act of love, which is just not true. No one has gone through these lengths and risked literally everything for one man who wanted to earn his redemption through his last act of heroism. And Emma just wants to take that away because she doesn’t want to lose him. And just when we think Emma is going to learn her hard earned lesson, she gets everything she wanted with no consequences. But Regina is the one who lost her love. How does that make any sense? If anyone needs consequences for her actions, it’s Emma😡 And continuing into the next season, she still learns nothing. ... same for Hook.

I was never a huge Hook fan, but I was really touched by him choosing to stay behind and then saving everyone and moving on for it, and I felt like they cheapened it so much by just bringing him back. It also cheapened the whole episode’s theme of Emma accepting losing Hook to have her just get him back. And it’s just so awful that Emma got her happiness but Regina got screwed over again, like, Regina deserved better. They consistently punish her even while they show she’s become a good person.
I can’t agree more. Emma learns nothing. This whole season was supposed to be about her learning from her mistakes, not for Regina to get screwed again. Regina deserves happiness with Robin. She earned it. Emma didn’t earn it and she still never learns. This show got me so mad this season.

Agree 💯%. This is so stupid that Emma gets her “boy toy” and doesn’t learn her lesson, but Regina, who has learned and grown so much throughout this show gets stabbed in the back again. What little time he spent with Emma was enough to get him to turn around and make a change was enough to say he needs to be redeemed? I think they just want Emma to have everything. She can’t be without her boy toy, so they just brought him back to keep this toxic relationship alive. Peter Pan is actually my favorite villain in this show. He wants to be with his son again and actually makes efforts to settle even with Rumple. It makes me mad that Rumple doesn’t forgive him because after all he has done to Neil and Belle, he still never learns. Rumple keeps lying and cheating to the two people he’s ever loved, but won’t forgive his own father when his father tries to settle with him as well. Rumple is probably the most toxic hypocrite ever to grace this show, but Emma is close behind him. Continuing into Season 6 she does what she always does when something goes wrong. I’m like, “Girl, did your trip to Hell mean nothing to you?! Did you learn nothing?!” Gosh, I hate her so much. At least Rumple is partially honest with himself that he is not a good person, but Emma thinks everything she does is justified because she labels it as love. That’s not love; it’s selfishness.
I wish that zelena got a good love interest. Why is it that every time the main characters love interest is in trouble, everyone drops everything but when it comes to other love interests, they don’t do anything.
Dark Swan was such a waste of potential...for me it was the worst season of Once Upon a Time. I know some CS will disagree, but yeah, I remember to put my expectations so high with Jennifer`s interviews about it... Anyway, always good to watch your reactions, even if I'm not always commenting.
The trailers they had at the time! Dark Swan in the dungeon being all creepy and cryptic like Rumple back in the day. I was so hyped. And then it was all trash. Should have let Regina become the Dark Queen. She would have dominated lol

Anyway, season 7 did some things so much better than previous seasons - Rumple's redemption, the relationship between A/T and R/M - not to mention one of my very favourite characters. On the other hand, it also had one of the worst characters - adult Henry's love interest.
