I live across from a golf course and collected and resold golf balls when I was ten. Looks like everybody found out how valuable they are. God damn thats a lot of golf Balls
This is the perfect business model. I hit the ball into a pond, eventually run out of golf balls and buy more from lost golf balls, hit them into a pond, and then rinse and repeat.
That's what I use. Some say not to use bleach because it eats the shiny coat ? I only keep them in there 2 hours at most. Thought these people used something else.... Thanks for responding.
This is the only place I buy balls anymore. Mint 5A is as good as right out of the box. Excellent prices. Don't laugh, but I buy about four 96ct buckets of Pro V1X a year. They ship super fast.
Me and a couple buddies have found over 200 golf balls one day just by using our feet to find them and go under and grab them without wetsuits or goggles
Many, many years years as a professional caddie. Water balls that have been underwater for too long have less distance and exaggerate any sidespin. It is all dependent on how long they've been underwater, and how old they already were when they went in, which is impossible to tell of course. But kudos for the recycling effort. +1!
Golf ball manufacturers should start sticking licensing fees on these guys. Make a cent or two off each ball. More used balls are sold than new, they'd making a killing
JACKTUMBO universal do you really think that a typical golfer, especially if at a swanky country club, would care about the cost of a lost ball enough to go diving into the water hazard?
Teeing up a brand new ball out of the box gives you a psychological edge, until it slices into the pond
My right ear only hears golf balls
This is actually really cool.

I used to do this for my own business. Made a bundle part time.
Great idea! Great for the environment! Awesome!
amazing
To be honest, that looks really fun and I'd love to try that
Just don't try it in Florida you might come out of the pond one or two balls short 😂🤣
Water balls absorb water into the covers and play a lot shorter than new ones.

That's what I use. Some say not to use bleach because it eats the shiny coat ? I only keep them in there 2 hours at most. Thought these people used something else.... Thanks for responding.

That's not recycling, it's refurbishing. There's a big difference...
waterlogged balls never go as far or fly/roll as true as balls that are kept dry.
On what information are you basing that statement?

I thought it would be like flat tennis balls, too, they would really lose their pop/click after a while, water or not.
TheXanUser the way balls are made today they don’t get waterlogged
That's like saying your windshield gets waterlogged when it rains. There are no openings in a golf ball to absorb water. You're a nitwit.
That job would fucking suck
First. A year and a half later.
My Cocaine bruh, your like, dead last.
