I am a PhD student here in the United States, working in the semiconductor area. We work with the US Army labs,my question is when is India planning to make such labs within the defense forces so that Engineers/researchers like us can help the forces better? I know we have DRDO but labs should be setup within army ,air force and navy so that we could get specific problems of the defense forces.
Also right now India is focusing on manufacturing of semiconductor which is great but India should also focus on making Intellectual properties(IP) like CPUs ,GPUs.

I can help you with that. After 12 he can apply for National Defence Academy conducted by UPSC, clear the written exam, clear 5 days interview called SSB and clear medical examination.
In NDA he will be trained for 3 years as per his specific arm (army, navy or airforce). Along with this he will get a graduate degree from JNU. After completing NDA, he will be going further to IMA, INA or AFA for specified training of his arm. Post which he will be commissioned as an officer in Army, Navy or Air Force.
Most important thing and difficult here is cleaning Services Selection Board, SSB interview which goes on for 5 days. The SSB evaluates candidates on 15 Oficers Like Qualities and selection rate here is very less. Out of 300-400 candidates reporting for SSB interview, only 2 or 3 generally clears it. Many times none are able to clear from a batch. It is a personality based interview. So one has to develope certain personality traits to qualify the SSB.
At the age of your boy, just let him play outdoor spots, let him study well, groom his character for a good, generous, helping and confident human being. And he will easily sail through the SSB
Venktesh singh already mentioned what i was going to say, but also if he can join NCC in high school and and college, will be good experience for him. NCC is not required but will help a lot with experiencing marching drills, pt, and much more. not sure about military but in POLICE recruitment, NCC in college is considered a plus point.

Will this initiative be able to counter china's aggression in the Indo-pacific?? how India can collaborate with Japan to deter china's aggression? how's the repercussions of this decision of increasing the defence budget with respect to India??
2.Sir I am a bookworm of books related to geopolitics and you have a deep insight of the international relations of India with our two neighbouring countries(china and Pakistan) ,So kindly suggest me the books which gives the top to bottom explanation of the international relation between Indo-china and Indo-pak.

There’s speculation that Pakistan will ultimately split into multiple smaller countries like Balochistan, Sindhdesh, and we will get back our own territory POK at some point too. My questions are 1) how will we be able to identify the radicals and nip them in the bud in POK so that they don’t attack the rest of the country? 2) How will we handle the threat of Taliban once Pakistan disintegrates? 3) What do you think are the plans to handle illegal immigrants who might flee to India when Pakistan collapses?

Please don't feel disheartened. Though Major Sahab discussed this point in a funny way. But believe me we Indians never want to hurt good thinking rational people of Pakistan. But such rational thinking good people from Pakistan looks like a rarity. Even after 75 long years of partition Pakistani elite ruling class are still stuck in spreading hatred and poison towards India... So in India there's a kind of feeling that only God knows when will some good come out from Pakistan

Recently BBC again trying to run propaganda now these foreign media's lies go all over the world. India must form a strong content creators and media watch dog so India can counter this disinformation campaigns
Yes sir , u are right in this era of propoganda and misinformation , we should also have some pr team or organization or a private media company which is viewed all over the world so that they can counter misinformation.
