Idea for a cool stream, otz plays on a low ascension going for heart kill, with frost on a20 with the same seed, who has to take all the same rewards and the same path. The idea that otz has to kill the heart without letting frost kill it

If you have a deck good enough to get all the way to the heart and beat it, does ascension even matter?
The main differences would be shops, and very few relics... Or am I missing something?

@@HaloNeInTheDark27 kind of. some of the ascension "downsides" are things like "more elites spawn". meaning that on lower ascensions you have fewer opportunities for relics. *but* you also have fewer "hard" fights. for otz might be able to steer frost into elite fights that he himself doesn't have to deal with.
also the fights themselves actually do change based on ascension. for example the heats "unkillable" buff is stronger at higher ascensions. and generally enemies do more damage.

Currently working on getting back to A20 again, after my savefile got lost. A18 with the silent took me 30 tries 🙈 luckily I got a power spam run with mummified hand as my next run on the defect (all the good stuff -> 2 x echo form + plus one bottled, bird faced urn, ice cream boss swap, runic pyramid)
