it depends on your playstyle and if you're using air troops or ground troops or perhaps a mix also depends within your spells support if you dont have anything to funnel use the siege barracks...bla blah i think carbonfin would explain it better than me
for me i try to use flinger wherever possible, for bases with good killsquad value then launcher, slammer when queen can create a defined funnel without the use of siege + no good killsquasd or flinger value

itzus army lets queencharge get a lot more value as compared to carbons simple and low-ish value queencharge

Why use 5 lightnings and an eq spell on a single inferno when you could just use 2 freezes for when the queen get there !?
Because the CC is usually behind the inferno with a lava hound. 2 freezes isn’t enough to get past it.
