I loved, loved, loved your talk with Focus!!! I can relate to so much and have learned from you so much Definitely buying your book! I am raising 2 boys (4&7 yrs old) so this came in super handy!! Thank you! 🤗
@@jessicamieres2696 Praise the Lord! That makes my heart so happy to know you were blessed by the show. And knowing you are a momma of age 4 and 7 year old little boys brings me such joy. Did you know Moms Raising Sons to Be Men is now available as an AUDIO BOOK? You can find it on Amazon. I got to read it so if you buy the audio you'll have my voice in your head as you read LOL ❤️
@@jessicamieres2696 Me too. I have audio books and ebooks but if I love the material in the book I ALWAYS purchase a paperback because I highlight, annotate, and dog ear the corners to help me absorb all the information! ❤️
THIS IS MY FAVORITE INTERVIEW I needed to hear this. My son is 12. I was saved when he was 10. He’s the only one of my four kids who is not getting baptized this summer. I cannot wait to learn more from this woman. Thank you Lord
Thank you for your comment Gorgeous Wales. I am so happy to know you're applying these biblical principles in training your son. And what a blessing to have his dad involved in the upbringing and training of your son.
I just got done raising our only son and 2 things resonated with me. 1. "Don't steal your husband's respect". I wish I would have realized from the very beginning how damaging it was to my husband's relationship with our kid's, when I would question and argue with him in front of the kids. Also, I constantly rescued my son. It did not help him at all, it actually hurt him. When he turned on me, it really hurt my feelings. In my mind I thought, I put my own self and marriage on the line to help you and this is the thanks I get? 2. I had to give it all to my husband too and I wish I would have done it when he was 10 and not 16. Our saving grace was our son knowing Jesus and he joined the Marine Corps. Any self discipline that I took from him, by rescuing him all the time, has since been instilled.😂 If your son is lacking a male role model, don't rule out the military in helping him become a man.
And THAT is why our common enemy, wants women to become anything else but not to become "a helper" for men. So much feminism and other "isms" are not the answer. Women are neccesary for men and viceversa in order to get a healthy human experience. Thanks Rhonda!
This was great. Does she have anything in the book that applies to an adult son? How a mom would be a Godly influence to him? You can't go back but how do you move forward?
I am now 68 and have had 3 major surgeries in less than 8 months, including 2 spinal surgeries. I was a single parent to 2 boys, now 31 and 40, who’ve recently thrown in my face, the mistakes I made raising them alone. I was so sad 😭. I’ve never professed to have been perfect, but to have it done now and being in a vulnerable place. 😢 I was not a partying mama, nor did I even date. I worked full time +, and we were active in 3 churches, until cpl ladies (my age) at one church betrayed my family and did some nasty things, negatively influencing my eldest. I do have more forgiveness to do in that regard. Right now, I’m not sure what to do w/sons. Youngest ‘ghosting’ now. Feel hurt.

Thank you so much Rhonda! I totally loved, enjoyed and was inspired by this session. I hope I can find your book in Rwanda.
Single mom. I need to pray for social connections in general and definitely to find good role model. We’re really isolated.

Yeah but military also has a really high suicide rate, speaking from experience. Hope your son is doing well
Just finished this book! I highly recommend this book. So much scriptures and great advice.
TY for sharing 2 Samuel 14:14 & sharing your story.

Father, please bring this precious young man a wonderful, Christian mentor.

U can do all that and still get the wrong result n b utterly exhausted from trying
Ah! I totally get upset and then rescue my son! Yikes!

She’s crazy and she is raising a son husband. Women can’t raise men. Listen to your husband and you’ll be happy
That's not true. Some dad's die or leave and the mothers do amazing. All things are possible through the Lord.
Rhonda you are amazing. Well done. A super role model for wives, mums and grannies.
@@stegospine84 Thats what not stats say. Also the men being raised like this are growing up with low T counts. You cant teach a boy to be a man
