I think you pretty okay for someone that seems newer to the game so nice job. But if I had to comment on your gameplay for tips to improve, something like your cooldown usage could use some work like putting Reprisal or Dark Missionary in places for example though this kind of stuff just comes with playing the game enough to know when to hit these buttons even if you've never done the content before. Only other thing though is you just lose a lot of uptime randomly though this normal mode content at least this case it doesn't matter it just feels better to be able to feel as if you are doing more when you don't lose a bunch of gcd's. But overall you for sure have the right mindset of wanting to improve and I wish more people in this game had that thought process with DT around the corner and the savage tier coming in July you should for sure try it out on release I think you would have a lot of fun.
Thank you for watching and your input, I have been a dps main since realm reborn and I’ve been playing nonstop but I decided to do the raids and msq for endwalker this year hella late so I am behind. On top of that my friends were like we need a tank main so I was like fk it lemme see what it’s all about and I love it.
I see, so I’ll look back into the footage and check where I’m doing reprisal and dark missionary then so I can use it more effectively. I was running unreal thordan the other day and it did feel like I was screwing up some of my ability damage mitigation cool downs and those hits were hurting lmao 🤣. And thank you for that comment as well I tend to make content about motivating people to focus on self improvement as much as possible which generally gets mistaken as cocky or prudish when all I wish is for everyone to be even better than what they already are. Even masters in martial arts always are looking to improve on something.
I definitely am going to rush into those savage runs when they drop hopefully I can pull myself together well enough on tank to Main Tank. The goal is to also be able to eventually put a dark knight guide together and move on to another tank. Over all though much love thank you very much for taking the time to watch and teach me a bit about tanking 🙏☺️

@@JudasRevolver oh hell yeah for sure. I got a couple of videos lined up to edit but for sure gimme like a week or two and I can come up at least with a pvp one. I feel like I have to beat unreal raid before I even have the right to do a pve tank guide but this Sunday we’re going to attempt at beating that unreal raid! PvP I’m definitely super confident in my capabilities since I mains dark and ninja 🤟😜

This game is all about cooperation excluding pvp. 👍
Arguably pvp just as much... Just less likely.
But my God as a tank the ones that blame their tools and rage are the worst.
And as for advice to improve, generally never use a gap closer to pull, it's always better to use a GCD, typically the ranged on cause it helps draw the boss into the middle of the arena and control how well you can control its initial placement much easier.
Team work ahhh the beauty of team work is such a rarity now adays lol you could not be more correct friend! lol
@@rexex345 agreed thats why i enjoy going into pvp with at least my wife because we know we are capable of eliminating enemies and shot calling. And as a brand new tank main having swapped from Ninja main dps i am slowly starting to understand why tanks get upset at people lol you could control the boss and dungeon perfectly but if you have a stray it throws you off entirely. Cooler more level heads think better and make the experience easier lol.
@@ToraMeda as a tank main since I started in ShB, boss positioning is definitely a case of practice makes perfect. Generally a good tip is to move in small steps between GCDs, the boss will follow you and as you get better you go from stutter stepping to figuring out the perfect pace to make it look smooth. Generally with initial pulling, what makes the ranged GCD so good is that the boss will start moving towards you while you can run straight through it and save a few exceptions, the boss will reach the centre of the arena at the same time as you, the other reason to pull with a ranged GCD, or actually in the case of dark knight, they can use provoke too, is the entity generation
@@rexex345 you know what you’re suggesting does make sense I found myself in unreal thordan when positioning the boss as main tank for knights of the round I had to cool it on moving too much and focusing less on dps and more on slowly moving the boss to the right spot with the long distance one you mentioned :0! I thought it was just in my head slowing down the pace may have been good but hearing you mentioning it that way it does make sense xD lol I appreciate the tips! Been a day 1 ninja main since ARR and I only have 4 month tanking as dark knight and I still think I’m a dps sometimes 🤣
