Red is between Africa and Asia. On the upper side of the Red Sea there is the Medittarean Sea and on the lower side there is a Gulf of Aden. Between the Gulf of Aden and Red Sea there is a famous strait known as Bab al Mandab, which joins the Red Sea to the Gulf of Aden.
