@@Loafie17 She had no Idea and neither did I as little child, she enjoyed it same way you may enjoy foreign music yourself 🙂, my grandmother's generation used to study Russian as their second language and she was pretty good at it, it's my parents generation and on that study English and German.

Was in downtown Chicago having lunch at a restaurant, this joint had music playing inside and outside . This song came out, and a black man in his 40’s or 50’s was walking by. As he heard this song playing he danced to it by himself until done! No matter where he was going, late or not he felt this song to the bone!

This song brings back so many memories of family cookouts! Playing with my cousins riding "BIG WHEELS" I'm on my "GREEN MACHINE," watching the adults playing "HORSE SHOES", girls playing "DOUBLE DUTCH", going to the cooler drinking off brand soft drinks, making sure I get some "POTATOE SALAD", Mom's always embarrassing me yelling out "BABY SHOW THEM THAT NEW DANCE YOU BE DOING"......"That's my baby!!!!
    *MOST IMPORTANTLY *
We kept our "LORD AND SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST" throughout our everyday lives and within our hearts......"HE'S COMING SOON BROTHERS AND SISTERS"!!! GOD BLESS!!!

I WAS A LITTLE GIRL ABOUT 11 YEARS OLD IN THE 1970S WHEN I SPENT ONE AFTERNOON AT THE ALISO VILLAGE PLUNGE ON PECAN STREET IN LOS ANGELES. MY FINGERS WERE SHRIVELED FROM THE CHLORINATED WATER AND MY VOICE HOARSE FROM SHOUTING WITH THE KIDS. I WALKED TO THE CORNER BODEGA AND BOUGHT SOME TAFFY AT THE END OF THAT DAY. THIS SONG WAS PLAYING . IT IS SEARED IN MY MEMORY. NOW 58. BUT WHEN I LISTEN TO THIS SONG, I AM 11.

This is hands down THE best song to come out of the 70’s. I’m white as Casper the ghost but my father showed me the magic of Marvin when I was young and I’ve been a fan ever since. Music like this just isn’t made anymore. This music is timeless. I’d rather listen to this song on repeat than any of the garbage they call music nowadays.

Garbage? That’s not entirely fair, in fact a great example of some recent music is the new RHCP album Unlimited Love, or if your looking for a new artist Johnny Manchild is sure to make some big waves to music as he gets older. Or if your looking for more of a jazz feel, feel free to vibe to some Snarky Puppy. Or if you’re saying new rap is junk then I would kinda agree, but I love me some Kendrick Lamar or J. Cole every now and again. Point being, don’t generalize all modern music to being crap, cause you’re just dead wrong sir 😂

For a brief moment in time, Bill Walton, Bob Gross, Lionel Hollins, Maurice Lucas, etc. were on top of the world, with Walton considered on par with Kareem and Bob Lanier in terms of superstar big men at the time. Both Kareem and Walton were products of the unstoppable John Wooden system at UCLA, it’s just unfortunate that Walton succumbed to injuries so early in his career. Just imagine if he were to remain fully healthy throughout his career 😢

NO ONE makes it to Heaven unless they are saved, sanctified, and filled with the Holy Ghost. This is a ridiculous statement 😒
You have absolutely no way of knowing this man's heart, let alone his whereabouts.
      *ROMANS 10:6 & 7
NOBODY is capable of keeping the Law.
The 613 laws that Jews attempted to keep were for them at that time. That all ended with the New Covenant.
We are under Grace, not the Law.
