Great video, i love power scaling videos about Pokemon and i think we need more of them and you did a great job. I honestly love how not all Legendries are these gods but just cool and powerful pokemon that is important to their region, i can't wait to see how powerful future Legendary Pokemon will be whether they are gods or just more crazy powerful than average pokemon which i'm sure we'll get a good number of both. Also for Magcargo i always assume they can just control the temperature of their body so they don't burn things they don't want too. I would love a video about the Mythical Pokemon next.
I am a little surprised about Mewtwo placement, i would personally put it a little higher on the list. It's so funny thinking about the scientists that made Mewtwo saying they created to "World's Strongest Pokemon" only to find out the crazy amount of Pokemon that we know and don't know about that outclass it in every way.
Dialga, Palkia and Giratina would be the strongest considering they are the creation trio made by Arceus. Being a master of time, space and anti matter basically makes them deities. Second strongest would be Kyogre, Groudon and Rayquaza. Those three are really old legendaries. Not as old as the creation trio but they been around for a long time. Groudon having the power to cause massive droughts and Kyogre causing massive rain makes them threatening. Rayquaza being able to keep them in check tells us how powerful it is.
Necrozma def is a weird one similar to Kyurem but with even greater questions. It is a shell of its former self which is the source of all light in existence even across dimensions, putting it at on par with the Creation trio in terms of known feats. But it currently is only capable of taking back all of that light. I’d honestly put a completely separate tier for it and kyurem called “elder diety” tier for ones whose capabilities were great but in current time are not what they once were.
Definitely agree that legendaries have been on the decline since gen 7 when it comes to their abilities and powers in lore. Feel like it really came to a head in gen 9 where Koraidon and Miraidon are just paradoxes of Cyclizar and they barely feel like legendaries at all. If anything they act more like dogs than the actual dog legendaries of gen 8. Buncha lizard doggos lol. But yeah, I hope that legendaries go back to feeling like legendaries in the future.

In the movie kyurem vs the sword of justice didnt he change to kyurem black/ fused with zekrom without a device or something like that? Great video by the way 👍
I'd argue the Gen 3 Box legendaries are the worst although powerful in lore and gameplay. The trio makes little sense, as Rayquaza is a dual type while Groudon and Kyogre are pure type Pokemon and Rayquaza needed dragon specifically to resist Kyogre's water moves, but it has ice moves and unless you go mega, Rayquaza can't take the ice hit. Then you factor in the abilities of Pokemon. Kyogre and Groudon got broken abilities (well more so Kyogre, considering it boost stab), meanwhile most other box legendaries get stinky abilities that are not that crazy. Even when they got forms the gen 3 ones specifically got broken forms, but when the gen 4 legendaries got them, they just swapped around stats instead of actually getting a boost from it.
Couple of things twisted here. Zekrom and Reshiram can’t just burn the world with fire/electricity from just being, they have enough said power to go around the world to do so. Based on how you talked about the other minor deities, that fact would drop Reshiram and Zekrom there as well. That whole burning power also sounds more like Macgargo’s temperature being sun level, there is no indicator of that anywhere, unlike Groudon/Kyogre who’s whole existence is around that power. Eternarus is causing space distrotions by just being in its Eternamax form, while and it causes Pokemon to dynamax, which already caused a doomsday before, and that’s just by being around. He’s definitely in the major deity tier and definitely above Reshiram and Zekrom. Ultra Necrozma ”eating” (more like absorbing) light is also very damgerous ability considering it ate the light of Alola in an instant in the ultra games. It also opening up ultra wormholes like nothing and causing Ultra beasts to wrech havoc is also a major problem and doesn’t require effort from it, and we have seen what a single Guzzlord can do. Also here I would take into consideration how Necrozma is said to have provided light originally to multiple dimensions, our world included, which would be a crazy feat. But even without that, seems like a major deity level legendary.
Something i just realized ruby/omega ruby and sapphire/ alpha sapphire are timelines where their respective box legend likely killed the other because you can't find it in the other game
This might just be my personal opinion, but I consider Mythicals to be a subsect of Legendary, so all Mythical Pokemon are technically also Legenaries, in my opinion.
