Tomac manualing into the whoops took me back to 2015 Daytona. Yeah he didn’t wheelie the entire section but it’s still incredible bike control to wheelie any whoops & set the front down at will. Really hope Tomac starts landing on the podium rest of the season

@@forbid8790I don’t fully agree. There’s been too many times where the camera is mainly focused on the guy out front just cruising away with no challenge, meanwhile we’ll hear the crowd loudly reacting to a battle, or something else going on in the background. I’ve seen a lot of people complain about what I’m saying. It goes both ways I’ll say that. I’ve seen a lot share my opinion, and I’ve seen it from your opinion as well. Either way, most people can agree the coverage sucks.

When I was a little kid in the late 80's. Fangin around on my little PW50. I was scared to go to my local track to ride where these guys had 250s. (this was a non sanctioned track in the middle of the bush in Australia that I could fortunately get to on my peewee) They were like gods to me. When i just decided fuck it, ima hit the track anyway, because of how my dad bought me up, I found out what motocross was really about. These guys on their huge bikes were amazing people. They were super interested in my bike and really cool to talk to. They gave me heaps of advise about everything, and said they looked forward to seeing me out there again. I carried this on my whole life, and that's how i've always expected motocross to go. We should keep it that way. Positive, not hate.
Edit: move on. Let's talk racing

It’s because this sport is so small, and means nothing in the large world of sports. They have to take stuff like this, and run it into the ground, just to make it seem like theres a chance there could be drama between the 2, while racing. If this sport was massive like stick and ball sports, they wouldn’t have to. Remember when Eli and Barcia had words couple years ago after a race ? Barcia was telling tomac, that tomac is dirty, and that he “ barcia “ is clean. Tomac asked barcia if he’s ever passed anyone clean ? Barcia replied “ this year ?? “. Anyways, they milked that cow so dry, the cow died, and they still kept trying to milk it.

JA has it figured out. One of the first things I taught my kids when learning to drive our canyon is that you break (or coast) before the corner and evenly accelerate through and out of it; the acceleration vector pulls you into the circle while the deceleration vector pushes you out to the edge. Throw in the friction coefficient where the rubber meets the road and you’ll anxiously drift right through it and survive. Just basic physics.

The good thing is most professionals understand to only take criticism from someone you would take advice from so they don't care. Definitely agree it takes a much bigger person and is much more difficult to stay quiet or walk away in many cases and is proven time and again.

Hey Johnny, I appreciate your analysis of rider technique after spending 40 years racing motorcycles, up to and including the pro level. I am totally delighted to see some real changes in rider technic, I too have spent a lot of time studying vehicle dynamics and to watch the last 10 years of supercross was getting boring, the riders were just following each other into the same ruts on every turn, no thinking just hammering the gas and holding on..rag dolls. This is exactly why the Europeans now dominate moto-cross, and to see the older riders and Jett changing the way they ride is inspiring! If everyone is doing the same thing every lap, same rut, same jump, same lines it becomes a parade. While I am on a rant..the track builders need to figure out how to make the tracks more interesting, not just jump, jump jump, 180 turn jump jump jump 180 turn ...Boring!!

Yeah don't feel sorry for Jett or any pro athlete. From a character standpoint, I way more admire a guy working an oil rig, or farming. That said what people always want is authenticity. If you're jerk own up to it like El hombre. Jetts catching flak because he portrays himself as easy going, wholesome but when he has a tantrum doesn't just own it so he comes off as a spoiled brat. I don't mind Jett but can totally understand the boos. The pass with Kenny didn't help either.

I agree that there should be a rule as to how low you can have your forks with the hole shot device for safety reasons. Lot of crashes at San Francisco down the straight because of it.

Coop ran that line in for himself too. Pretty sure it was the first race he was doing it to the inside, just not as agro, if I remember it correctly. You really gotta nail those ones, they go south quick.

People aren't booing Jett because they want him to lose, their booing him because of his unsportsmanship conduct towards Jason while boasting about how many races he's going to win. He needs to be put in his place, he has to earn the respect of the fans as well as the people he is racing against.

Exactly rite.. Jett unfollowing JA on instagram makes JA tart up leaves alot to wonder about JA and then to say 'you'll never be the king'..is childish as all fck. Jett will come good,he's only young,he'll handle the brainlessness of the crowd and the psychology warfare. Keeping quiet always wins..he's focused on riding not winning crowds.

Its funny the 2 best riders if the night without doubt were Ando and Jett... they were the only 2 guys who actually passed guys and were able to move forward all night. Yeah Jett crashed in the last which cost him a podium but it was kind of AP Deteiot moment he changed his line from what he was doing all night in the whoops, but the point is he and Ando aren't just front runners they can actually make passes when they either crash early or get poor starts ...... no other riders made as many passes as those 2 did

He didn't actually say that, he said he saw it as a goal he would like to achieve, which is an entirely reasonable aspiration for anyone.

Disagree! He's been an entitled, cocky, disrespectful and arrogant little shit lately, with his flaunting of money and cars and fan zone, while charging $2k to visit, and $30 for four donuts, mocking other riders, the list goes on. Acting like that doesn't gain friends or popularity, and it's really that simple.
Bottom line is he came to America to find his fortune, then wants to spit in America's face after we allow him in. And that isn't acceptable. Period.

  • @romanianmoto
    @romanianmoto 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

Jett Lawrence has worked so hard that he dominated every American last year. Hard work you mean like every other American from the East Coast and the West Coast, that’s on the track putting in hard work and practice every single time every single week before they race…..
Jett Lawrence has accumulated enough money that he can retire and take his ass back to Queensland.
Congratulations to his success throughout, but I’m a patriot and I’ll be damned if I choose a rider that Isn’t an American to win the championship , maybe get rid of the Australian broadcaster since he’s up his ass all the time…
