Seeing that my famly had never given up on me, I was finally willing to accept myself. In the beginning when I was out in my wheelchair,I once went to a restaurant but was told to go to another one, there's also a time when I was shopping for clothes where the sales person wouldn't let me try any on. But I didn't let them get me down. Nowadays, I've learned to move my joints, I can sing again, I especially hope to be able to participate in the musical I was involved in creating. I believe I can.

It felt like my heart'd been stabbed every time I heard it. But I didn't know how to protest, so I could only remain silent. When I was 18/19, society was still treating discrimination and prejudice as if they didn't exist.
