HS Football LED Lighting Upgrade feat. the WiLLsport KBX Fixture | Vigilante Stadium, Helena, MT

Helena Public Schools was at an inflection point. Its natural turf football field, Vigilante Stadium, was sporting 1970-1980s HID light fixtures, and replacement parts were nearly impossible to find. Needless to say, it was time for an upgrade.
Wisconsin Lighting Lab, Inc. (WiLL) stepped in to help. With local partner, Morrison-Maierle, WiLL custom-built WiLLsport 8-engine KBX LED light fixtures - a high-output solution that not only improved light levels but also energy savings! With residential neighborhoods directly adjacent to the field, WILL's glare control and custom aiming also played a pivotal role as it greatly reduced the amount of light spill and glare impacting people's homes.
Finally, the addition of wireless lighting controls put the field's operations into the hands of the school district as they can now remotely controls the lights - highlighting different field zones, celebrating big plays with light shows, and optimizing operations with calendar-based lighting schedules.
