Why do people insist on putting this fucking garbage noise on videos? If the video has audio, leave it alone, but even silence would be better than that shit you overlaid.
Martin Suarez was a blue belt of jiu-jitsu at this time, and black belt in his own art: "Yudansha", according to him. He lived a time in Florida and came to train at Brazilian Top Team, becoming a joke to everyone, ended up messing up and being expelled. He then went to America Top Team and was expelled from there too. The reason that Andre Galvao "passed the car over him" (as we say in Brazil) is because he tried to give a heel wrench in Galvao, a movement that is not allowed in competitions.
the fake black belt is definitely a fake. i was in Okinawa in 2002 and this guys was a blue belt, then when I came back after 6 months instructor left and this fake was wearing a black belt teaching bjj.
hes literally flowing like water... truly amazing to watch, how someone can become so skilled in something. love, dedication, and obsession to this art makes him a true artist. incredible
Adam Flannery It's funny how the pencil neck guys complain about steroids.Grow some balls and take some or shut up,all sports are dominated by guys who are dedicated enough to do anything to win. It's just reality...Roids are here to stay.So next time somebody go all out on you, ask yourself what you are doing wrong.Oss .
Dude... you still gotta lift and hone your skills. Steroids aren’t the magic little pills people make them out to be. Strength alone doesn’t make you good. It’s only once your elite do they have an impact... but taking steroids won’t make you elite
Note at 0:55 there is a cut. The footage cut right there shows Galvao's opponent (Martin Suarez) bringing his left leg over Galvao's right hip, which is technically "reaping the knee", but it wasn't called by the ref. I assume Galvao was irritated with that and decided to embarrass the guy. Search "Andre Galvao vs. Martin Suarez" for the full match with no edits, and you can see the illegal knee reap.
@drdouche1 So...did you not get enough attention as a kid? Bullied? Lashing at people on the internet is indicative of only sub standard character and poor quality in lifestyle. On a subconscious level...I feel sad for you. On a Conscious level however...I feel the same about you as does the rest of the people in your life do. I don't care.
He didin't go for a heel hook but he was reaping the knee which is illegal the ref should have DQed him, and yeah he is not a bjj black belt. He is a tranditional martial arts guy who thought he could hang in the black belt divison. There is another youtube video around somewhere of this video without the music and the guy who got raped talks about his martial arts experience
@waldomarek Because you can't beat anyone if you don't dominate their spirit, their desire to win. Andre doing that got into the guy's head and Andre simply decimated him from that point on. Remember, Jiu-Jitsu is more than the sum of it's parts. Dominate the mind and the body will follow.
Not like this. The guy in the clip is a judo black belt who entered a BJJ comp. Just bad luck he drew Andre in round one, lol. Any BJJ blackbelt would do much better. Or at least not make so many stupid mistakes.
macaubjj he once did a seminar with mendes I showed up as a white.. I tried to take him down as me being a stupid new white belt he didnt move and inch
In fairness he would prob make legit black belts look like white belts as well. There is difference between a club level black belt and a world class black belt athlete. No different in any other sport. I can play/train soccer (football) for 20 years and I won't have shit on a 17 year old Rolando.
+stav1369 no, he wouldn't. jiu jitsu isn't like that, really. yeah he'd smoke a LOT legit black belts, but they still look like black belts. umm... it's hard to put it into words without showing it. if a guy is a black belt, you can tell, even against very high level black belts like galvao, and even if he taps them in 30 seconds. the only time you can't really tell is like some flying finishes, and even then you kinda can tell they know what's up sometimes.
+FightBack96 You are right I was exaggerating for effect when I said he would make them look like "white belts". I have been doing BJJ for just over 2 years now, and while I am no guru I know what you mean. I understand there is a difference between being outclassed by a better athlete (black belt vs balck belt) and losing b/c you have not having enough technical knowledge (black belt vs white belt). Like I said i was exaggerating for effect.
stav1369 ahh, gotcha. yeah i've been training for a little over a year now. some guys are... it's insane how much they know. there's a brown belt girl at my gym, maybe 125 lbs (i'm 175), and she annihilates me every time. it's actually amazing.
+Mike Hawk Yeah, I heard either JJJ black belt or a Judo black belt. At the time the IBJJF didn't register belts so any one could enter at black belt and compete. This guy had a belt in another art and had attempted a leg lock (maybe a heel hook? its edited out) with a knee reap I hear. After that Andre went off on him. There was a post on Sherdog that noted the guy in the video has since actually achieved a black belt in BJJ.
@drdouche1 Where does that even make sense? You're clearly mad and are trying too hard. Spamming out videos with annoying comments to get a reaction. More related to this video, I'm sure Andre would break your face. I've seen him do it to people. Have fun attempting to annoy people troll.
a lot of people don't know his opponent was actually a white belt haha he signed up as a black belt just for the hell of it haha unfortunately he had galvao first round
The opponent’s name is Martin Suarez. He’s a black belt in “Yudansha,” which is a martial art he invented. He has since started training legit grappling. UPDATE: Commenter who knew mr Suarez clarified: “This is Martin Suarez. At the time, he was a black belt in the “Yudansha fighting system”. Hybrid mma, bjj, catch type of thing. He was a training partner of mine for a long time. He’s a bjj brown belt now.”
he wasnt even a BJJ black belt he was some bullshit martial arts black belt who thought he would do good in a major BJJ tournament in the Black belt division. It really goes to show how dumb the guy would have to be to compete in a 100 dollar tournament where he should know how easily he would be destroyed, and its not like he has any sponsors to pay the fee for him lol
So, probably someone who payed his way to black belt in one of those "dojo" (wink wink) "martial arts" where people with money breeze through the ranks, maybe he is in good shape and thought "oh, that bjj is no big deal", I know because I heard same thing when I use to waste my money at a "dojo", then I found BJJ and never looked back.
I'm a black belt. 12 years training. I would freeze up if I were to go against galvao. I dont know if this guy is a fake or not but I know galvao would make me look like a beginner. I would expect galvao to act more professional. the whole shoving thing was unnecessary. if he wanted to end the match he could have done it without all that showboating. I respect galvao and love his jiu jitsu but the shoving was uncalled for in my opinion
@Passenger87 ive seen the certificate, its signed by Gracie. I think he would probably be a better authority then most on a legit black belt. they seem to be pretty strict on giving those black belts out, but i dont know first hand aside from seeing the certification.
@gnarlyb actually i just found out that the guys was a legit black belt but not a brazilian jiu jitsu black belt, so i believe my statment was correct as are yours his name is martin suarez, or something like that, and he is a black belt of Yudansha Fighting Systems, whatever it is, and he was not graduated at all in brazilian jiu jitsu
@crackurbak he isn't like a white belt, he probably IS a black belt....andre is just on a WHOLE nother level and is on top and world-class, lots of black belts would be tooled like that guy did if they went against andre
Galvao is just simply clowning the guy. He is simply saying to the world; Please give me someone that can actually compete with me. Kinda reminds me of Anderson Silva vs Forrest Griffin. What Anderson does on his feet, this guy does on the ground. They say to be great at anything, one must have 10 thousand hours of practice under his/her belt. Something tells me that Galvao took that saying to heart.
poor guy. though i gotta lot of respect to all bjj black belts, you gotta show some skills and do your best man. once your on the mat, its a different story.
@mikey4u1984 Meh, I disagree. I believe that Galvao went break dance mode on him cause of the heel hook attempt. Many people (and many more Brazilians), see leg locks as disrespectful themselves. I would certainly still call Andre Galvao a true Martial Artist.
@Pmutley I was thinking the same thing. A legit BB would NOT get embarrassed like this. Maybe he was injured? Who knows. Maybe Andre is THAT good. I'll go with the latter
@mikey4u1984 I realize your comment is more than a year old now, but I feel compelled to let you know that a "true martial artist" gives everything he has to his art and expects the same in return. If he doesn't receive it, then it's on his opponent. Andre is fighting with all of his dedication, strength and passion behind him. His only ambition in that instance is to utterly defeat his opponent. That's what he's doing and it's beautiful.
I will not cal galvao an idiot he seems to be a kind and intelligent human beeing but on that day i didnt understand why he went on tu push the guy the way he did Him flowing over that black belt has nothing to do with galvao abilities The guy was refusing to engage anyway due to who knows what fear lessskilled perhaps i was on the side watching this match n i remember vividly the guy stalling n not moving at all galvao is one of my fav bj athletes after telles n terrere andre galvao was somehow a result of these two athletes i disagree w galvao he has a huge spot in bjj shouldnt do that im not only talking about the push at the end but also the flowing over to me its humiliating just tap the guy who s scared already enoug one day if i get a chance i would like to ask andre what happened n why he acted this way
Everyone is different buddy I actually like this music because it adds excitement to a already exciting sport IMO
I like rap but I agree 100%.
I dislike most rap but this is motivational.
Can't lie in jiu-jitsu!
Theerhino36 there is no lying in any combat sport.
Amen brother !! oss
That's what I love about it.

Whether fake or not I say he did pretty decent with Andre man 😂😂😂😂
@@michaellee6713 far from decent. It's a white belt vs a black belt
hes literally flowing like water... truly amazing to watch, how someone can become so skilled in something. love, dedication, and obsession to this art makes him a true artist. incredible

This is not truly amazing to watch. Clearly his opponent did not belong on the same mat and was not a legit black belt. .
Dude... you still gotta lift and hone your skills. Steroids aren’t the magic little pills people make them out to be. Strength alone doesn’t make you good. It’s only once your elite do they have an impact... but taking steroids won’t make you elite

Black Belt Surfing
hahahaha
01:29 SUPER EFFECTIVE MOVE!
The mats don’t lie, and that last sequence is so liquidy and amazing
Wowzers Galvao just BJJ And 1 Mixtaped him....
@drdouche1 So...did you not get enough attention as a kid? Bullied? Lashing at people on the internet is indicative of only sub standard character and poor quality in lifestyle.

Loved the flying armbar, 10/10 execution
@waldomarek Because you can't beat anyone if you don't dominate their spirit, their desire to win. Andre doing that got into the guy's head and Andre simply decimated him from that point on. Remember, Jiu-Jitsu is more than the sum of it's parts. Dominate the mind and the body will follow.
Galvao can do this to probably 85% of Black Belts on earth. If you think otherwise it's because you have not trained with him or BJJ long enough.
Not like this. The guy in the clip is a judo black belt who entered a BJJ comp. Just bad luck he drew Andre in round one, lol. Any BJJ blackbelt would do much better. Or at least not make so many stupid mistakes.
NefariousPorpoise He is not a Judo black belt he is from a Self defense system of Japanese Jujutsu
No, he is a Judo black belt as well as a black belt in Yudansha Fighting Systems.
not like this..this guy is pretty bad..his single leg x guard attempt was worse than a blue belt
macaubjj he once did a seminar with mendes I showed up as a white.. I tried to take him down as me being a stupid new white belt he didnt move and inch
He is literally playing with him like he is saying in the back of his head " I can beat him any time so just for fun let's not give a 100 % "
In fairness he would prob make legit black belts look like white belts as well.
There is difference between a club level black belt and a world class black belt athlete.

at what mark of time does this attempted knee reap occur?
I did karate for years... funny thing is, I knew green belts that could kick brown and even some black belts asses. In Jiu Jitsu, that shit don’t fly.
He's lucky Andre went easy on him, other black belts would've hurt him and would've broke that arm.
Pass 1:31 is sweet!!
Song Name: Andre Nickatina & Equipto - Public Enemy #7
@drdouche1 Where does that even make sense? You're clearly mad and are trying too hard. Spamming out videos with annoying comments to get a reaction. More related to this video, I'm sure Andre would break your face. I've seen him do it to people. Have fun attempting to annoy people troll.
can someon tell me why he (galvao) pushed the other guy away at around 1:14?
Well, now I know why I should do those balance ball drills! :D
Fredrik Wahlgren he made that dude a human exercise ball hahaha
a lot of people don't know his opponent was actually a white belt haha he signed up as a black belt just for the hell of it haha unfortunately he had galvao first round
throwing up a flying armbar on galvao, gotta respect the send lmao

That dude had no business in the black belt division, let alone against Galvão.
Another Ribeiro brother!

I've watched this atleast 50 times, thanks for the upload. Apparently you know my buddy Matt A., small world.
Embarrassed the guy and then still celebrates the win like it's legitimate 🤔 ok
too cocky but he toyed with that guy.
Rick C only because that guy claimed he was a black belt and was not a black belt.
Here after Gordon Ryan bitch slapped Galvao
He's fucking floating on top of him. Amazing display of balance.
Expert playing with fake. :)
Isso sim que é passar o carro.
I love how he drew it out and didn't submit him till he showed everyone how much of a fool he was. Complete disdain. Treated him like his bitch.
Pretty much what Gordon Ryan did to Andre later
holy shit he is amazing!
That’s just disrespectful lol

Wow
His style is tight
@drdouche1 obvious troll is obvious....

Puta q pariu passou o carro foda!
I met Galvao at metamoris 5, he's short, and built like a brick shithouse.
Short? He's 5'11" or so
I'm six foot one and he was very small.
@Passenger87 ive seen the certificate, its signed by Gracie. I think he would probably be a better authority then most on a legit black belt. they seem to be pretty strict on giving those black belts out, but i dont know first hand aside from seeing the certification.

Karma
you could tell galvao was really angry at him wearing a black belt.

that was embarrassing
Andre got mad skills but the other guy... he can't be a black belt theres no way
no its been confirmed that the guy is not a bjj black belt. i cant remember his name but there was a debate on sherdog and someone posted his website
Not totally to the topic, but what is the "v" in Portuguese? Is it still a "v"? All I'm familiar with is the "h".
@wsworld568
the guy he 'humiliated' could beat you much more easily than galvao beat him
dope video but the nickatina makes it even better!
skylerm +1 more

@Pmutley i'm sure his opponent is a legit black belt.. but Galvao's on another level man.
@ribbedtr0jan lol I know , he's just a troll. I was just bored and felt like smack talking.
wow, what was his sweep at 0:27? it was like a scissor sweep with his hands on the sleeves.
@Anornaly
having a bad performance doesn't change the fact that silva's striking is fucking incredible
Great BJJ by drill to kill champion andre galvao
new area of BJJ
just great to watch
Epic. The other guy is a killer, black belt. He just make looks easy
@gnbooster87
Gotcha. Well then he brought that humiliation upon his self. : D
this is andre nickatina but i dont know the name of the song.
@drdouche1 You try to hard :P
@iratelyblank no worries..i found it... thks a lot... again my brother...
@DiOgOVtEc song is Andre Nickatina & Equipto - Public Enemy #7
@vf3rr4z its Andre Nickatina & Equipto- public enemy #7
Idk I went to his academy and he did the same stuff to his black belts..
Eh. Its a known fact. The guy wasnt a bjj BB. He was a black belt in some mma style he created.
TheGodfather101 if he was an MMA guy why is he in a gi?
@drdouche1 You mad?
@crackurbak he is a BB his name is martin suarez!!
I'm so porud to be a member of BRASA JJ....ooooossss
Everybody is commenting on the legitimacy of the guys belt? Look how awesome that Knee on Belly/Back is! Wish I could learn that.
Dude for real! Freaking amazing to watch!
@jjeeve5 Yea Andre is a great guy. Thanks for the explanation. Makes sense now
@waldomarek just to show that he was in control.
@NECC94 comment of the year
What is the name of the song played in the video?
andre always embarrasses people that reap his knee
song?
Having to fight against Galvao...what a nightmare
@Ohnani he is a BB his name is martin suarez!!
