The mean tweets who support Toei's choice might feel overwhelming but I can assure you, you're not alone. apparently it also upset many Japanese children, enough to get a reaction out of the "official complete book" from them, but sadly it was a lame double down one that just made crappy excuses, placed false judgements on said fans' feelings, etc. I think it's safe to say that sadly, Precure has now been infected by bronyism 2.0....

He had potential of being good! Even the others! They even gave us cure sparkles dream of them being good to give us false hope! I'm so sad!!! Normally I move on from anime characters I simp for if something happens to them, but I haven't! I'm so mad! He deserved to have a chance to be good... This really made me hate cure grace.... King byogen was right when saying "you heal the earth but not daruizen" Or something. And she basically called him a hypocrite! He wasn't! She's the real hypocrite. Heal the earth and everyone in it.. But not the byogens. Grace even said she'd love for them to be good! Well you got to try! It's not simple as asking. Show them to be good. And they said because of this they wouldn't make more hot precure characters. I only saw doki doki precure.... After I saw daruizen I went to healing good precure, and watched it and watched more precure.
@@lovelydreamer3567 You couldn't have said it better. Cure Grace lied when she said she'd protect everyone, when called out on it she dodged the point and just blamed another. Normally the idea that "everyone" includes the villains too would be mentioned by the cures *first*, and it would confuse the villains at first. But this time it was the other way around, the byogens were the ones asking for acceptance *first*, only to be refuted at every turn. And the writers' excuse of saying that people were upset only because they made the villain "handsome"... what a joke! That's making a mockery of their fans feelings and essentially accusing them of being shallow while utterly failing to see what they did wrong despite it being glaringly obvious. And I assume that to get a reaction from the book it had to be a *lot* of fans were upset, including children, as I doubt (I hope?) one or two vocal randos like you or I wouldn't be enough to make them do that. So to just double down and say those people are cruel for having different feelings from the writers, and to say that they're "wishing ill on Nodoka" when they're not, that's just unfair, these people just wanted Precure to be Precure and stick to it's morals and that's it really!

She asked him questions, but never let him answer. He could have said something along the lines of "I'll change. I'll be better" or something. Then when king byogen absorbed him, she acted sad and surprised. Bish- you knew that was gonna happen! He even said it! .... When daruizen begged grace. I cried. It was just so- Awful to watch. It's basically teaching kids if someone needs help, and you don't feel like it or something, not to help people in need. And I actually met someone who isn't a daruizen simp, or a daruizen, grave shipper that wanted to see the byogens being good and they were disappointed. And since a lot of support to toei is saying that they're choice is good, also says we are just simps or shippers upset at seeing him get absorbed and not have our way or not having close to a "ship sailed" I've never wished ill on grace till she did that... I've never really liked her, BC of the ship art, and I was afraid that it would be close enough to cannon... But I never wished her ill.
