that’s cool that Sunny made the fantasy friends✨ I like the crystal shaker and violet’s hair color , not a fan of the outfit. Sequins don’t look cute on outfits for the most part. My favorite from this line is Ruby Doll and outfit wise overall And Violet but with a different clothes I also agree the jacket tied on the waist , want that to be wearable It’s quite cute💞 I think the most practical slime placement would be the crystal- it doesn’t look good anywhere else
You and I agree on so much about this doll. I'll probably restyle her and give her an outfit from my RH wardrobe. I think Ruby does look really great in this line too. I may pick up a couple more of them. Not sure yet. Currently I'm buying older Rainbow High dolls to add to my collection.
I bought Slime Violet and Swim Violet, but I probably wouldn't get anymore of them. I haven't opened them yet...🙂💜 I think the reason they stopped the wrists is because kids where lossing the hands ✋ and MGA doesn't sell them separately. I know I have found them at the thrift missing hands and their are a ton on Mercari without hands...🤷♀️
I think Violet is the prettiest of all the Slime and Swim dolls. I don't think I'll buy any of the Swim ones, unless I find them on a good sale. The hands are missing from some thrift ones I have seen and I usually pass them up. Finding matching hands is such a pain Thanks for watching!

She is quite cute. I like her. Unfortunately, the pets are not as cool as the original Sparky Critters and especially the so cool Cutie Tooties. They were very cool and detailed. I haven't seen these dolls in shops here yet. I only saw the swim line so far.

i have the same doll, but for me is coming with already done slime. maybe the orders to Europe, are from China (my is from China) and the slime is already given done in a box. Not crystal like your, mine is in plastic one, with white shine dust. And i dont need a water to mix something.
I've heard that the US version of these dolls let's you make the slime but other countries are getting ones with already made slime. It's really interesting. I think it might have to do with regulations for toys. I'd much prefer to get the shine dust instead of the chunky glitter.
@BearlyUnboxed i am agree with u. I prefer fow all countries the conditions to be the same. But i am glad that i dont need to mix water and some dust, and make a mess on my table. But i disagree that i dont have the same crystal box as you. Because my slime came in a simple plastic box, ready for use. But really i want i want to have the same dolls and conditions for all of the world. Aaah, and another thing - my came with full mess in the hair! Blaaa! Your is curly and nice. In mine doll the hair is like a nest! I should go and wash her. And no curly 🥲
@@klerleon7768 a lot of my dolls have really messy hair in the box! I have been washing the hair and that really helps fix it. I would love for us all to get the same dolls no matter what country we live in too.
I will say these dolls are definitely not for everyone, but they are growing on me a bit. Some of the outfit prices are really nice but some are just really sad. I don't mind pets, like the Monster High pets I absolutely love, but these ones with the slime aspect are kind of strange looking and seem so out of place in the RH universe.
I definitely respect that decision. If I didn't have a review channel I'd be doing the same thing. I'm worried that if these new dolls don't sell enough, rather than changing them back, it could be the end of Rainbow High.
I can see why they removed the wrist articulation if they are targeting younger kids. Maybe they don't want younger kids taking the small hands off. I feel like they could have at least made her jacket a real jacket. I still like these dolls and think they are cute.
What I find odd is the age range is the same for these dolls as the previous ones with the removable hands. I'm thinking it was purely a cost saving move to have the hands not be articulated. I'll admit if I didn't have this channel I would probably not have bought any of these, but after buying one and reviewing it, I definitely think they are cute and still a quality doll.
Its KILLING ME to see grown adults complaining about things literally made for KIDS. these are not high-end or collector-grade dolls. They are 2 steps up from playing jakks!! I have said several times, my 9-year-old girl LOVES SLIME AND DOLLS! Guess what, she has all of these already and could care less about an "articulated wrist" Marketing and BUSINESS says bingo.
I understand that, in the long run these are toys for kids. It's just that as a collector of Rainbow High dolls, we have come to expect a certain level of execution that they suddenly decided to change. It's normal to be sad and confused when things change. I'm really glad your daughter loves them! After all, they are targeting her demographic. ☺️
I mean the dolls were expensive. And they were good quality. If anything is slightly changed, people are going to notice and complain. It's perfectly fine to complain. Companies love feedback. Especially MGA. If they were trying to target children when the dolls first launched, the high prices for a simple playline wasn't the way to do it. Lol. They obviously just can't afford to make the dolls the way they were making them. I'd say NOW they're targeting children, which is great but let's be so fr, I rarely saw kids with these dolls before unless they were the budget dolls. I personally love the Slime dolls, though I don't collect RH. I think MGA is just trying to forcus on Bratz this year which makes alot of sense. They are in competition rn. With Mattel's success in 2023 with Barbie and the new Myscene reboot coming in the summer, they need to focus on Bratz. Back to the basics. It's a business decision that will benefit them. So I understand everything MGA is doing is strategic.
@@BearlyUnboxed You're very patient and kind in your response first of all. 🥲 Something I'd like to mention, is adults with reasonably enough disposable income IS the targeted market, (kids or not) seeing as we ultimately make the buying decisions. Seems to me companies listen and do care what parents and collectors think is worth their hard earned funds... plus time spent extracting slime from carpet or furniture. 😅
