• Lastly, we’re back to Bousted Cruise Centre to disembark. Overall, it was a relaxing trip. A lot of seafood going on the ship, watching performances and shows. It was a great experience and to relax, it is not bad at all.

Sure, Royal Carribean now has far larger ships, but Superstar Gemini being 40000 tons decades ago was enormous by those days' standards.
I have sailed with one of the great ocean liner Queen Mary 2 and it was a great experience. I am planning to sail with Star cruises soon. I'm being a sailor now and in love with ships 😍

Looks like have to walk very far from the jetty to the ship. Any form of transportation to ferry elderly passenger? I see ppl walking from far distance 6:38

This one I'm not really sure about it. If not mistaken, they have this small transport car upon request. I can't promise on this. As for the distance, yes, quite a distance to walk.

They serve it during the last day. Be aware too, there are abalones served is one of the Chinese restaurant, in one of the day. Mostly third day if not mistaken.

From my experience, it is quite depending on the disembarkation time off the ship. My ship delayed 1 to 2 hours at Phuket, so I only have 6 to 7 hours in Phuket. But they promised 8 hours. (The ship follows Malaysia time, so do not refer Thailand time when you are there. )
When you're in Phuket, you can either use Grab, the e-hailing service, or charter a van that can bring you around Phuket. If you don't want your trip to be so rush all the time, I would suggest go to Jungceylon Mall. Inside there is a Big C to get some Thai grocery. Behind of Jungceylon mall, there is night market for some food. Not big but sufficient enough for some bites.
For Langkawi is the same 8 hours. I only went To Underwater World and shop some duty items there. Some alcohol beverages will be kept by the ship crews. You can check it with counter.
I did bring some snacks on board. But keep it in your luggage, just in case. Lol.

Once you get your feet down to Phuket, you have 2 options to go for.
Option 1:
Walk to Jungceylon Mall. It will take roughly 15 minutes walk if the weather condition is allowed to.
Option 2:
Take a cab or tuk tuk. We chartered a van as we have 7 persons. It cost around 1000baht in total. He fetched us to dinner, then dropped us at Jungceylon Mall, then pick us back at Jungceylon and send us to the Jetty. There are several car services near the Jetty with plenty of packages going on. We decided not to go other places as it will be very rushing for us.

There is no restriction stated on board. Perhaps, you're able to fly. I did want to bring mine, but mine is too bulky to bring along. Probably Mavic size drone shouldn't be a problem.
Oh really. Last 2week iam sailing with this cruise. Iam bring my mavic air. But not fly because iam think fly drone at ship is not allow. Damn. Next time i will fly hehehe

Thanks for dropping a message.
The ship will disembark at Patong Beach. There are small ferries to transit passengers to the so called pier because the water is too shallow for the big ship to go that near.
After disembark at Patong pier, you will need to find your own transport to travel around in Phuket. If you're not fancy to go far away just for sightseeing, you can have some good mango sticky rice near to Jungceylon mall.
After that you can go to Big C for some Thai grocery. Then, behind of Jungceylon mall there is one night market, not big, but sufficient enough for some Thai snacks.

There is one Chinese Non-Halal food restaurant. Others are international and seafood buffet. If you're looking for food and beverages during the non-serving time, there is this one cafe/restaurant there beside the pool near the centre of the ship (of course you need to pay for it).

That is not far away from my stay.
Actually when I went to Phuket I got 4 hours and just the same with Langkawi and the food was not as good as Super Star Libra in 2013
