This is their best album since Terminal Earth. Loving this stuff! You can hear that they are returning to their roots here, a lot of songs on here have elements of the ones on the first two albums. Classic power/speed metal for sure.
Yeah this is a very good release by scanner. The title track is awesome! Still doesn't reach the classic status of their first three albums, and Mental Reservation along with Ball of the Damn are probably their most consistent releases. They both have a slight little modern Sheen just to update their sound, and they're definitely worth listening to.

I love the first two albums and Ball of the Dammed, but Mental Reservation is their best, IMHO.
