Firstly thanks for preserving the culture, and much props to the RZA but let's recognize the genius of the legendary Prince Paul on the production on this classic!
That's the MAIN reason I copped this when it first came out! Prince Paul and RZA together??? I was like oh hell naw, this is about to be bananas!! Got that cd quicker than the clap in a brothel.
Didnt even know that "Diary" was two Johnny Mathis samples. I always loved sample sets because it allows one to truly appreciate the history and impact different genres of music have on one another. Ive been listening to this album consitently since 94 when I was in high school and have a whole new appreciation for it. Inlove the black and white theme to go along with the album cover as well.
I describe this Gravediggaz album as The Native Tongues movement walking through the dark alleyways of the slums of Shaolin. Classic material. BTW, I could've sworn "Graveyard Chamber" used a sample. Oh well. 🤷♂️💯🔥🔥🔥🔥
My favourite album of all time !!! Prince Paul n rza digging up the mental dead on this timeless classic. Iv got the euro release on vinyl, different title and the extra song pass the shovel . Probably the most underrated album of all time. Amazing era. Large up to vin for gravediggin this classic!!! 👐
marlon dumbo I'm man with simple tastes.... Ak47 just before a bball match always helps. White window when I'm spinning tunes . Depends on the situation. There's so many combinations and strains. Sometimes I just want a bit of bud don't care what it's called 😂😂 f@&?ing potheads!! 👐
@@gk_knight I haven’t checked how much but when I went to their site they were out of stock. I then went to Ebay and was able to find a brand new copy! There are still a few copies left on Ebay bro so hurry!
Love this. The samples on this record add such a dark, inaccessible atmosphere that really puts the horror mood in your face. Unreal choices. Prince Paul, Frukwan, Poetic, and RZA are god tier.
Never commented this much on a vid before... Who remembers "freak the sorceress" from the nowhere to run single..and all this crazy remixes on the e.p and the double suicide packs.
Intrinsically, one of my favourite and most prized albums; I was able to get a few days before release, so I opened the shrink wrap, copied on to tape to keep the inlay cover and jewel case in prestine condition. I haven't opened it in 25 years. The theme of the album was also intrinsic to me at the time... Great work 1nce again, thank you.
@@FlukeDogg08 Seriously, I wish Vin could upload everything on Vimeo or just ANYWHERE other than TH-cam's copyright strike trigger happy ass. Hell, I'm willing to bet more people come to Power 106's channel for Wax Only nowadays than they do for radio interviews or anything else they post lol. The series really needs its own space to exist.
My level of respect for power 106 just went up so much. My respect for the G scratching has broke the barometer, much love this is amazing 4 yrs later.
Kinda kicking myself in the ass for not peepin this episode when it dropped. Had a coworker in their 40's refer me to the album & been hooked ever since. P.s. No Return To The 36 Chambers?
I was gonna ask if you took requests cause I wanted to see a video for Gravediggaz. As I am going through a few of these videos each day this one popped up next. Fuckin' awesome man! RIP Poetic / Grym Reaper.
I was with my cousins from chicago who were into freestyle lil suzie and ish like that i made them listen to this album on a 4 hour ride from orlando to miami....twice 😅😅😅
I have a question where is kurious in nowhere to run nowhere to hide?.Because i don't hear him or think he had a verse,do anyone know if why he feat in the track.
Such a different way to layer samples. Rza goes and tears the sample apart and hides it. Prince Paul keeps the essense of sample, keeps it simple and builds right off it. Classy and clean Prince Paul.

for real man. this is hands down one of the greatest albums ever made in my opinion

WU TANG❗️
Rza came thru with the bars on this one

Facts!!!! The Undertaker did his thing on 6 FEET DEEP!!!! A true classic!!!
The way Prince Paul flipped the 2 Cups of Blood sample 🤦♂️......Crazy!!!!
This album was the best bars RZA ever dropped. It's like he was a whole different emcee
YES!!!! I miss THAT Rza!!!
Rza is top 10 of all time
Bro Vado I’d definitely take it over Tical but not 36
@@KaiserUnique id Take 6 Feet Deep over any wu related album expect 36 Chambers and liquid Swords. Just slightly above Ob4cl and supreme Clientele

Its cool. You're work is still greatly appreciated!!! Excellent sample set!!!

Rza & Prince Paul. Masterpiece
The 'Two Cups of Blood' and the 'Diary of a Madman' sample 😲🔥🔥🔥!!!!!!
13:34 The gasface !! Diary of a madman absolute piece of art !!
You are a National treasure. Keeping years of music relevant.
This album introduced me to shabazz !!!!! Be a witness.....
Found the Death trap sample. Tyrone Thomas and the whole darn family, 7 minutes of funk
Melvin Bliss' "Synthetic Substitution" be hitting HARD in hip hop!!
..if ODB was in Gravediggaz, maybe Wu Tang Clan would not have happened..cuz they woulda been lit af...
Oh thank christ, I tried watching this earlier and it said it got flagged. Thanks for the reupload.
There goes "1-800 Suicide" song. I hope Wax Only will be on BitChute in the future.
