With most woman in society nowadays its the opposite , They cant handle u at ur worst (poor , financial issues , struggling to succeed) , they cheat or go out with others while dating u ,receive expensive gifts on nights out and say it was a bday gift if the bf asks who gave it. Yes to an extent but not always. High chances are you might have never experienced real love. Yes, I could see how it might be overwhelming, but if you truly love someone then you would look past that and see that it’s a rare kind of human that would go above and beyond for someone. Of course, if it’s genuine and I’m sure anyone would be able to distinguish both apart. Also don’t you think that in a healthy relationship there has to be some sort of communication so I think that would be the time to establish boundaries, and bring up anything making you uncomfortable. Narcissistic people tend to take a different approach and instead try to manipulate a situation into their own hands with no regard to the other individual. So I’m sure with the actions you’d be able to spot a narcissist right away. At that point if they’re doing both then now we’re talking about a psychopath
