With the assets for the full city created now thanks to episode Ignis, and with the royal vesel on the way thanks to the royal dlc I'm wondering if they won't patch in the full city for us. It's too seamless an opportunity to pass up on IMO, and something else I'm hoping for is to be able to travel too Angelgard on the royal vessel :D.
Before people complain like always. These are left over assists from Episode Ignis. It's part of an update that makes the DLC compatable and also that Episode Ignis does use regular Altissia as a base to add stuff on.
Damn, can't believe so much stuff in Altissia actually has hit detection >< I would imagine you'd just phase through or something. How long did it take you to swim to Atlissia from Angelgard, though? With Chocobo it already takes like 45 minutes xD
I think more than 15 minutes but I'm always multitasking so I don't remember exactly. A lot of buildings don't have collision actually, I think most of the stuff that's solid and very detailed was for the bit where you're with prompto in chapter 9 and you're flying through the city. And then the room with the chairs was for the cutscene with Luna and Camelia if I remember it right?
I think that was indeed for the Luna cutscene. Aaah I totally forgot about the flying with Prompto part, would make sense for that area to get some collision. Hopefully they expand on Altissia now after episode Ignis did. Thanks for sharing!
You need to go out of bounds with chocobo and swim to angelgard. There you'll find a rock you can climb to get to the swimmable ocean that's higher than the actual ocean and from there you can swim to the Altar with or without chocobo
Ravatogh glitch doesn't work anymore, I don't know the new ones to go oob from lucis but i have saves with the chocobo in altissia, you can do it by jumping on the bridges then in the water, even in 1.2x
What's cool is that all of these areas that you couldn't access in the main game were used in Episode Ignis.

now with the episode Ignis DLC out i can see why so much was accessible here, it was supposed to be, but got changed and turned into DLC

Imagine they give us a lot more exploration between Chapter 9 Altissia and Chapter 15.
