What a beautiful , lovely horse. I was veiwing on youtube of a beautiful black, lively horse that was originally destined to slaughter! It was intercepted at Horse Plus Rescue in Tennessee, USA. It was thought to be part Freisian which caused controversy within comments. So through a DNA test it was discoved that of the 3 breeds the top breed was Caspian! Which shocked everyone! It is a beautiful horse and much taller than the the Caspian breed. I'm sure the rescue will find the right adoption person. If you want to know of this Rescue you can find it on youtube. Horse Plus Rescue video at Christmastime whe 17:34 re they rescued over 50 horses. They do mention the 2nd and 3rd breed on this site.
I, as an apprentice had the pleasure of assisting my farrier shoeing a beautiful Caspian mare today. I also want to add that in the box next door was her foal. I did not know that such cuteness existed. im a grown man, father I might add, could be described as manly and stern. I let of a high pitched squeal and "aaahhhhhh, can I please pet now, please"... since it was important to make the farriers visit a positive one, ample time for pets and cuddles was given. Delightful day. I will in the future make sure to provide the finest farrier service for the Caspian breed. Joe from Sweden.
When I was 8 a friend had three young Caspians and I rode Chockie. He was JUST 5 and only recently broken. We went to a few rare animal shows to do displays and he was the sweetest guy.
Happy Birthday. I hope the race will prosper. It amazes me that there are no comments. A more aggressive advertising policy will be needed, as well as more peaceful interaction with Iran.
After learning of their existence by assisting my farrier teacher today. With a hands on, very up close and personal visit. I can agree. Very nice way of discovering a horse breed of such significance. By cuddle time with Caspian mare and foal . Amazing little horses.
i USED TO KNOW ONE OF THE FIRST PEOPLE TO IMPORT CASPIANS. sHE HAD UPS AND DOWNS IN HER BREEDING PROGRAMME HAVING SOME HAEMOLITIC FOALS BUT SHE PERSEVERED
