One thing that stood out to me about the opening is that it contained several shots that looked nearly the same as shots from previous trailers, but with different environments. For instance, we've seen Elaine turning to look at Van after he walks past her in previous trailers, but in this video we see that it's raining while the weather was sunny in the previous videos. Likewise, the shot of Van and Aaron charging to attack each other was darker in the opening than in the previous trailer. And several shots with Van and Agnès near the end of the Opening have been moved to an abstract environment. While these could reflect changes made during development, I'm guessing that the opening is taking artistic liberties and focusing on the emotional states of the characters in these shots, and that we'll see the versions from the trailers during regular gameplay.
Good point! I think most of them are entirely intentional. Zemuria is facing a doomsday and our main characters are trying to break free of that destiny. Agnes could somehow very well see these different realities with her locket. I'm definitely liking how they could be approaching the themes of this game so far
Wait I didn't notice that about the Elaine shot, thanks for pointing that out. That just adds to my theory that Van will die and I am getting more and more scared it may come true.
At 4:56 it actually looks kind of like the Armata Executives somehow Demonized to me, also immediately afterwards you have Shizuna's eyes in that glowy 'Gnosis Gold' instead of their normal blue colour
Considering the fact that she studies the 0th form, it leads me to think that the "Gnosis Gold" eyes are some sort of enhanced Spirit Unification form. Especially taking into account that it's the exact same glow that Emma had when she taps into her power, i.e. during the aftermath of the Eryn attack side-quest
If i am sounding like im spoiling then im sorry its just a theoretical guess because my best guess is that the guy with a big sword from the almata mafia group from the ending part of the opening, is that they are planning to open up some kind of a portal to connect the human realm and the beyond realm just to not only gain some power but to strike fear on the people with those demons from the beyond realm. I mean according to the info from kiseki wikia it says that the leader's mafia group's purpose was to strike fear on the people by dominating the world with fear. I mean with alittle bit of reading info and looking at the opening it proves that the theory of my guess may actually be possibly true
I just remembered something those monster from the opening with a yellow humanoid lion and the other demons from the opening, i wanted to say that my best guess is that they a frome the same realm as where mcburn was i mean do you guys remember that in cold steel 4 he actually revealed his true from as a demon im guessing that those humanoid monsters are actually the same race as mcburn from the same realm known as the beyond realm
I was really excited to see Shizuna, even more when her eyes glowed and it made me wonder if she has powers like her 'cute little brother'! Though the fact she isn't included in any line-up with the other protagonists makes me concerned she won't have that big of a role.
I think I know why the hooded Gralsritter figure looks familiar, he's wearing the same style of clothes as Wazy with those long-arm gloves. Not saying it is him, the clothing is notably darker but I guess it's actually pretty common in the Church after all and not just part of Wazy's host mode, who knew? :D
the clock could be sept-terrion of time but it's too early to tell we're missing 3 in the series water, wind, and time so i'm assuming calvard will have 2 like erebonia.
Yeah, that opening made me think like "Is Agnes related to President Graham or something? And the amount of characters having their eyes are glowing especially Old Man Zeeman (forgot his name) and Shizuna concerns me a lot. there's too many possible scenario and all of them are quite scary. Witches, Ouroboros Magic, DG Cult Victim, Demon Posession, and so many other things. Also, my wish that Quatre was a victim of DG Cult is unfulfilled because his eyes are purple and not yellow, unless if he uses a contact lens because he hated it so much. The only figure i can think of in that Gralsritter shot is C/Rufus, but if it's even he which is already doubtful, why the hell is he even doing there with the Gralsritter? And i think the person in front ouf out antagonist Mafia Boss is Dingo the Journalist based on the messy hair and the flannel shirt. Why is he there fighting him alone, i have no idea.
It looked like Van was seeing Agnes in his eye's reflection. Something tells me that Van might ascend to a world beyond theirs or sacrifice himself and Agnes wants to stop him.
What impressed me the most in this opening, is the rain in the background with Renne. I'm sorry but they never nailed rain and that rain looks awesome XD
Was it just me or was Shizuna's eyes glowing like a witch. Emma had the same yellow glowing eyes and Rose. Also Agnis crying over Van's xipha(I believe) does that mean Van will die. Maybe that is what it will be to change fate.
@@RosyMiranto I mean your right in some cases but some things that point me in this direction. At the very end it shows Agnes and Van smiling with a white background, why does this matter, if you look at previous pv trailers it was a field of flowers, why would they change it. It was the same with Shizuna's eyes in previous trailers they were not glowing which means they were trying to hide it for some reason. There is more that makes me think this way, like in previous trailer it shows Agnis screaming Van's name and telling him to stop, in the op it shows Van looking back almost like he knew he was going to die, final fight maybe, when Elaine saw Van walking by in the rain, when Fie and Zin didn't seem to notice almost like he wasn't there and she was seeing things that weren't there, Agnis crying over his Xipha a important piece to Van, and them smiling at the end with a white background which is normally used to portray death or acceptance. I see two ways either Van is going to die period and she learns to accept it(or something in that manor) or Van dies and comes back thanks to Agnes help, breaking the chains of fate maybe.
@@ZeraThroughZero plus, another issue is that if Van is really dead and it sticks, then who replace the Protag role if Calvard have a second game (which is almost certain), i guess Agnes would be the second Protag if that actually happen
@@RosyMiranto Could be Renne, she is almost being built up like a protag. I could be very wrong, but there is a lot that makes me think so. I understand what you mean replacing a protag is not something easily done.
yeah I guess it depends on how long it takes them to get it out. I know their working on the official localization of zero and azure (yay geofront) but i know they want to do the spreadsheet too so it's interesting to see what becomes of it. I would watch your playthrough of kuro with the overlay since I want to know what's going on and i know I will be reviewing the game for months afterwards like all the rest of them. I love the little nuggets of lore after every corner. Could do a nightmare run first run and maybe abyss on the spreadsheet or something to get your feet wet but you do you i'll enjoy it either way.
heard through the grapevine the spreadsheet will be delayed a bit longer then the last one so like 3 to 6 months (they're working on official games shocking I know.) So yeah maybe to have to a playthrough the hard way first and come back to it later.
been seeing reports that kuro no kiseki is probably the easiest game in the series you may want to crank that difficulty up and it's about 70 hours long ish and not very lore heavy just introduces the characters and kind of sets up for the next game but leaves no cliffhanger. Kind of reminds me of Trails from zero since that game didn't really have much of lore either(with the exception of the conclusion of renne's family issue so she could heal and accept them again) and it was mostly the development of the SSS. Azure is where it went nuts.
Also I can't help but wonder if Gramheart is taking this need to follow in Osborne's footsteps a bit too close to heart if he does have a relation to Agnes now 😅
I just hope this don’t be another trash game like previous Falcom Games (Coldsteel). Well people like shit as long there’s a cute generic anime girl in it.
I'm just happy Renne, Rixia, Fie, and Zin are here. Just waiting when's the next time liberl, crossbell, and erebonia crew would be crashing the party
No one wants that mess lol
Pretty sure that's Dingo Brad, the reporter guy based on the clothes and figure, being confronted by the Armata boss Gerard at 6:00 Ken 😛

is that red hair girl shirley?
Might be a reach but is that Gambler Jack in the scene with the Armata leader 🤔
The woman with red hair, green eyes and black clothes looks kind of like reis argent.
I think it was shirley from her appearance, but idk cant confirm myself
