@@tristo4485 the numbers say they had to the best defense in the country in the 2nd half of that season. That included playing 4 games against teams that were ranked in the top 4 during that stretch !!

Ikr, Sumlin and Fisher are equally as bad but they hired fished because of his "reputation". No matter who coaches them the Aggies are a 7-5/8-4 Quality Team.

No one said a&m was gonna win anything this year. Granted after watching every other game this season a&m did not show up for this game. They hung around with bama and Clemson, and if not for officiating in the georgia game they wouldve had a real chance to win. This team is right there. They just had an absolutely brutal schedule this year that guaranteed know progress in the win column. Theyll be a 10 win team next year

Has anybody seen any post from any A&M fans? I wonder where they went? They had sooo much to say last year.
Im an A&M fan. what do you want me to say except my team fidnt show up. They were competitive with everyone all year and then they stayed on the bus. The only reason a&m fans were talking shit last year was cause yall couldnt accept a loss which is pretty typical for LSU fans. Yall have the mentality of baylor with more wins. When yall win yall are great and yall lose its cause of the refs. This year a&m did not show up after what i thought was a promising build up following the georgia game

As a native Texan and big fan of A&M, I always root for by Aggies. BUT, for this magical 2019 season, I became a lifelong Joe Burrow fan, and for that season, a big supporter of LSU. So many talented players went on to the NFL. now, it's 2024, and I'm hoping Joe is able to be fully healthy this year through the entire season and that the Bengals can get him a consistently reliable offensive line and receiver corp, which, of course, will still do no good if they don't have a good defense. I've watched all the games from the 2019 season many times, and no doubt will do so again.

All three top teams are looking imperious this season (Ohio State, LSU, Clemson). Whoever is No. 4 will have their work cut out for them. The No. 1 seed has a definite advantage over Nos. 2 and 3 who meet in the first round of the playoffs. Imagine if polls still decided the National Champion. Likely there'd be a split decision this year. Of course, there's still some football to be played with the conference championships. Upsets could happen but doubtful. Still, would love to see a minimum 8 team playoffs. The lower level FCS teams started their 16 team playoffs this weekend so the argument against expanding the playoffs is null.
#2 lsu plays #4 Georgia on Saturday for the SEC Championship so even with a loss LSU will still make the playoffs. Georgia.... not so much lol

I LOVE LSU, but I'd put them #2. Against FLA, AUB, and ALA, they won by an average of 7 PPG. OSU beat PSU, MICH, and WIS, and they beat them by approximately 25 PPG. Had LSU's defense shown up again ALA & FLA, they'd be #1

So do they now flip Ohio State and LSU once again? Both teams have looked insanely good this season but LSU has just beaten more high level teams. The argument for OSU has been that they look like the more complete team but the secondary didn't look great against Michigan and LSU just played their most complete game of the season.
