Infact some signs cause more confusion than help such as 30mph on sign board and 20 on the floor but thank God examiners will advise accordingly in that case. I’ve seen worst case of junctions with no signboards and badly faded give way lines in Bishop stortford
@@OJKENNY I'm less concerned about driving tests than I am basic road safety. It won't just be student drivers that notice late that they have to give way there.
@@thomasdalton1508 You are correct and the situation of our road markings are terrible. Similar situation that cause dangerous driving very often that I witness very often is when a lane is suddenly turning left or right only and there’s no advance warning signs. As a result you have many drivers forcing their way into the correct lane last minute. I’ve been gathering several videos on this and intend to make a video on that later. Road signs and floor markings in my experience are much better and safer in Europe specifically Netherlands. Clear signs and well in advance.

I follow your work on youtube 👍🏾, to your recollection do know of any double set of traffic lights on the Hither Green test route? My Son failed today on a serious by going through green and red, i'm not familiar with this area.

@@OJKENNY As I said, we are unfamiliar with the area as we got a short notice booking, he is not able to remember where this happened, but I've been doing some digging of my own and found the left at "Burnt Ash Hill" onto "A205" has a predestination crossing, I'll show it to him on google maps to see if this is it.
Aahh yes I know the traffic light he missed, it’s not uncommon for learners to miss it because some confuse it with the other traffic light on the opposite direction on burnt ash road that turns right into Lee high road which you don’t stop at that. However the light at the junction turning to A205 going to Clifton roundabout is activated by pedestrians. Yep, really does mess things up, had 1 fail last week and another today all because of anxiety. We eventually went 2nd time and learner for this test video passed with 2 minor faults only proving she was a good driver and only let the nerves take the best of the situation. th-cam.com/video/P_euUSaS_x4/w-d-xo.html
I thought she would have had a minor there myself but then I drove by it again myself and realise the pedestrian walkway is very close to the zebra and there's not much you can do as a driver if you're just about passing it and a pedestrian appears. I examiner didn't comment on it either which gives that an all clear. But if pedestrians and visible as you approach zebra I also advice to also expect them to cross and prepare to stop.
I failed on this Tuesday just literally few minutes back to the test centre,because I didn’t see somebody near the Zebra crossing and poor judgement when a car was reversing .I am so gutted.

A give way sign wouldn't hurt at that junction. There is no clue until you are close enough to see the faded give way markings that you need to stop.

I initially thought it might have been the zebra crossing at 4:21, but the pedestrian was still walking up to it and wasn't actually waiting to cross.
