I think Tony would cause he had hands on experience with the movies he was in (I never saw any of his movies though) but James has little experience from the shorts that I saw you feature him in.
I met him at a convention a few years ago. He signed a photo and answered a few questions. Unfortunately one of them seemed to touch a nerve and although he was polite about not wanting to answer the question he was certainly as intense as his various roles made him out to be. I wouldn't wanna piss him off that's for sure. He's an awesome actor to be sure but he's pretty intimidating in real life too.
Candyman is by far the most alluring horror movie killer, everything about him attracts you yet also repulses you. I honestly don't think anyone but Tony Todd could pull that off.
I don’t know that he wasn’t being real. He mentioned his daughter earlier. I think he loves his children a lot and has seen that no matter who someone is they have value. It struck a cord in his heart I think.
Tony: *I would take the taser, and go for the scrotum...* James: **Crosses legs* Or, even better, Tony: *I would take the taser, and go for the scrotum...* James: *Ah! I see you're man of culture as well!*
I love Tony in his roles in candyman, final destination, etc he seems intimidating and creepy but he's like a big cuddly teddy bear irl also I wanna meet him he seems cool
I saw Mr. Todd when I was going to acting class at AADA back in 2000. He was walking on 7th avenue in midtown Manhattan with a woman. I tap him on the arm and just looked at him. I can tell you that I was Starstruck for just a moment. He looked at me and said "I have to go to a meeting" and walked away. Till this day I feel like an Asshole because I did not engaged him in conversation. I should have just walked and talked with him just until we got to 34 Street; but I did not. Mr. Todd is a good guy and great character actor. I would love to work with him one day... True Shit
This interview was great because you asked him original questions; I love the game at the end, too. His responses were humorous and classic. T. Todd is the man.
Thank you so much for meeting with him and making this video. I have been terrified by him for years and this helped me separate the character from the actor. I appreciate the work you did and do.
Sent here from James's Candyman video and im upset i did not see this earlier! James does a great job interviewing and Tony seems like a wonderful person!!!
James is great for your channel and great job on getting TONY TODD WOWEE good job guys and have a great CRYPTMAS crypt tv also same to you James nearly 2019 nearly time for more mordeo love you crypt and you to James happy holidays❤️❤️❤️😀😀😀
This truly hurts, as a black guy he was the driving force that made me become a horror fan in the first place. Rest in power Tony Todd, will truly be missed. “Be my victim” 🥹😢
Horror Icon is a understatement for Tony Todd. His career in horror, hell movies and TV, is vast and wide. Great Video James... Sorry Dead Meat James hahahaha!!!!
I'm almost 30 and this man still scares tf out of me to this day I wont say candyman in a mirror. I know it ain't real but damn did he give me nightmares.
Profound Ending he mentioned in the Podcast of his review of Final Destination that he has a schedule and he’s nowhere close to the franchise but he said that we’ll get it eventually, so please chill out! He’ll do Final Destination when it’s time. I know you’re really eager for him to cover that series immediately, but he has a lot on his plate right now.
pewdiepie is my dad pyro is gay I know you want to see him cover your favorite franchises kinda like how we all wanted him to cover the Halloween Franchise. Just because someone started requesting a movie series doesn’t mean he’ll immediately start doing it. So like it or not you’re gonna have to wait like everyone else. But we do know one Kill Count series that won’t happen is Jeepers Creepers because of the director being a convicted child molester and James doesn’t support that at all and I wholeheartedly agree with him.
Great video! Love this series! Can't wait to see future episodes! CryptTV & Dead Meat James is a powerhouse combo! Can't wait to see more! Tony Todd is(and has always been) AWESOME!!!
Coming here from the latest kill count just to say: Tony Todd could not be a sweeter person. He's such a imposing presence on film who just commands respect (and deserves it) but off screen he's just such an earnestly good person and I've yet to hear a single bad word said about him and strongly believe I never will.
I can't help but like Tony. He is so down-to-earth and kind and realistic - which for Hollywood is increasingly rare. He's also a happy self-proclaimed New Englander. Even though he lives out West, he calls the Northeast Home. Right on, Tony! :)
Ok guys let's be real....in an all out brawl who is more wholesome and charming: James or Tony??
Crypt TV they’re both great, but James! He’s such a nice guy!
I think Tony would cause he had hands on experience with the movies he was in (I never saw any of his movies though) but James has little experience from the shorts that I saw you feature him in.
James hes just a good guy
Can I choose both?

RIP Tony Todd (December 4, 1954 - November 6, 2024), aged 69

We need to see the extra footage where Mr. Todd talks about (and imitates one of) his cats!
K
That sounds glorious
Amazing
Just as I was about to let the demons digest the extra footage....we'll see if we can dig that up for you ;)
You what will be funny Chelsea making the interview :v
