I have the Razer wallet (which I really love) and the Ultimate Networking Tool wallet (which has a nice simplicity to it) just seeing what else is out there. I appreciate the recommendation.

I used to have the informant and after that horrible experience I decided to wait and I was questioning whether even wanted to get a wallet. I ended up getting the peak note wallet because my friend and Ryan encouraged me to do so. It's a great wallet because you get a simple peak and it's an everyday carry. And it's made out of real leather. I thought about the shadow wallet but I only use it for a few other magic props like KK.
Hey I am very new to magic and I am looking to add some things to my repatuare I have a solid force a solid control and my double lift is pretty good my card game is good but I kinda want more simple non card stuff what would you recommend I want something that I can just walk around with and show people

I think any wallet - that doubles as a magic prop and an EDC and gets that much wear - will see abuse - its best (I think) to have a few wallets and cycle between them.
Agreed I bought mine after the hype during lockdown. So only practised with it during this time. By the time I could use it put in the field it was knackered.
Bobby Motta’s The Informant is my go to. One of a kind, impression wallet. Why? It uses impression, which means you don’t need to take the piece of information back, and why would you TAKE the paper BACK, and put it INSDE OF YOUR WALLET. It doesn’t make sense. The Informant gives you pockets for your impression pad, and you can use any impression devices (psypher,...). It makes most sense to give the spectator their paper back after they wrote it
I love the impression device on this but the fact that the wallet is not real leather and that cards get stuck in it and that it breaks down and is for the most part chincy as where this wallet loses me.
I bought my first peek wallet back in may. I ended up going with the razor wallet from Dee Christopher. I had already been doing a thought of card to wallet before hand, so didn’t find it necessary to spend a little more to get the shadow wallet.
David, I was wondering if you were ever going to do a video on what effects you can do with a peek/ peek wallets. Everyone always talks about how good or diabolical the peek device is but never what to do with it. Any recommendations on material out there? I think it would be really informative. Thanks!
I agree, Stealth is top-notch, and been around a long time. Do you know the cards from the Shadow wallet, fit the Stealth index very nicely? Also my Nexus, after a very short period has split at the top corner and stitching has all come away, poor quality, and it does not fit a Bonsalope. As always great review.

Are there any peek wallets in brown leather, for instance? I kind of think a black leather wallet is less common in everyday use, but I have no evidence to back that up. What I CAN say, however, is that any magic company wanting to market a peek wallet could easily separate themselves from a crowded field by simply choosing something besides black leather. EDIT: Your review points out which wallets have more than one color option, thank you! But still I wonder - how many people have a black wallet as their every day wallet, "magical" or not?
Hiya David, I got my Shadow wallet but I want more pocket or space to hold stuff to be a back pocket wallet. Will you recommend Stealth Assassin or Viper? I think I knew the benefit / advantage of both but can you point out some disadvantages? I like drawing duplication and some lucky number routine with peek wallet, so you have any idea? Also if I don’t fold the billet mostly. Is S.A. give a better result? One last question, is the quality of the zipper in Viper good? I replace my non-mental/magic wallet mostly because of the zipper so I have a little concern.

You could transform UNT, Shadow or Razor into a version of Telethought with an inexpensive security screen - easy

I got the nexus wallet which I love. But it’s already showing a lot of wear with just everyday use. They advertise is as an EDC.

I think a lot of people do. My Dad and brother both have black wallets and they are not magicians. I assumed it was half half between brown and black.

Don't get the razor wallet instead get the shadow wallet. It does everything the razor does but it's better. It's even made with better materials.

For me the Psypher Pro works but only w a card case, cuz then I have a reason for getting the cards out of the box.
