There’s been so little rain on the island we’ve got a water shortage. It started raining before 6am up with us as it was very wet when we got up. It’s now 5:50 pm and the suns out.
Hi Andrew great video. We are used to bad weather in the UK least still warm but shocked see Las Americas like that could be mistaken for anywhere in the UK in the winter. Recommendations spend the day in an indoor shopping centre,find somewhere play bingo or go to an all you can eat buffet restaurant.

Thats probably the worst I've ever seen it along that front. Makes me so glad we did our cruise last week! Was a shame we couldnt arrange to stay in the south for a bit on embarkation day, but was too much faf to go up to Santa Cruz, check in and then backtrack.

You know what always makes me laugh when abroad , when people are in the swimming pools or in the sea.. and then once it starts raining people run for cover, but then when the sun comes back out they all get back in the swimming pools and in the sea 😂👍
I was there in sept 2022 when there was 3 days of tropical storms, we just binged Netflix and went out for dinner in the evening. But omg the floors are sooooo slippy everywhere. I went flying in McDonalds and landed on my arse. One of the most embarrassing moments in my entire life, no wet floor sign & some converse not a good combo. I couldn’t walk for a couple of days so that’s why we just stayed in the apartment 😂
Yes it does seem to have been cloudy weather this year despite last week which was beautiful. We had train one day in August whilst we were there. April week was not great either

Yesterday we rode bike up to Teide and it was beautiful, today the ride from Los Christanos to Tamaimo and back was quite wet. Still beats -34 in the states.
Tbh we have always been lucky with weather when we have visited the reef , however the one year it poured down for over 10 hours during the day , so it was shopping in the passerella centre after breakfast in beaujangels , then cards on our balcony in Beverly Hills heights , then early dinner and drinks in the Belvedere when it was open 👍🏻
You're 100% correct they don't want You Tubers doing lives. My opinion is of when they put out false news then it could be proven that it's false news with people being able to shot live at the time. Great vlog Andrew

I just got back from las Americas yesterday , I tried to book the jet ski safari through the company you promoted . They’re very expensive €140 for 1 hour double jet ski . I got the same excursion of a local company for €100 so quiet a big difference in price

We came almost a year ago, in our hotel they said you were crying out for rain, water shortages.

Rain and cold is due to hit Cyprus tomorrow and continue for the next five days or so - rain clouds appeared mid afternoon.
