Zvika Greengold rampaged in a few of these at the Golan Heights back in 1973, while he was waging his one tank war. Even though the Soviet-made Syrian tanks had NV, they still couldn't match the Centurion.
What made it successful was the Austin 8hp engine driving the auxiliary generator which was able to supply the huge electrical demand the vehicles had. This allowed the use of centrifugal gun laying and fast traversing of the turret.
Thank you for showing the pictures comparison of 75mm and 17 pounder... I'm seeing it for the first time....I wonder why there are no videos going similar comparison with German shells too....please do a comparison of Ww2 tank shells
A bit of correction, strv 104 was the model name of the last Swedish centurion, strv 105 was never a official thing, only a try to modernize the S-tank (strv 103). So two very different tanks.
But more of a correction, i think you're referring to the Strv 103"D" there (a planned upgrade for the S-tank) - the Strv 105 was an upgrade planned for the aging '104 fleet but iirc the project was dropped after the introduction of the Strv 121 and 122 MBTs (leopard 2s)

The reality of the harsh battlefield has shown that the Centurion is the most successful Western tank that can be compared with the Soviet T54/55 tank. It is durable, withstanding all the rigors of the Middle Eastern desert, as well as achieving other reliable specifications. Its highlight is the 105mm caliber L7 Ordinace main gun, which is more powerful than the 90mm Patton tank gun like the M48. The Jews achieved victory through it.

I had to look this up. Wargaming, this games company, donated $10 million to China to, as you say, help combat Covid19. I didn't know that happened. That is quite astounding!
Which ones are you specifically talking about? I haven't seen anything thus far that I've disagreed with. I mean, I do hear a lot of people disagreeing with the HE changes but I'm not personally one of them. I guess I also disagree with some specific tech tree retirements, such as the T-26, but I wouldn't call them game-destroying.
Whenever ww2 and Britain is talk about 17pounder will be mention atleast one time... Without saying the name of 17pounder in ww2 Britain story they feel like something is missing😂😂😂😂 if , 17pounder and CAEN this two will always be mention in Britain ww2 catalogue 😂😂
What tank(s) would you like to see next?
The Old Gang 2 (TOG 2)
Yugoslavian M-84
The tiger II
In the game, AMX 30 not in the game AMX 10 RC
TOG II

I think Richard has really developed and improved as a presenter. Great work Rich I can't wait to see you do more!
Oh nice. I love inside the tanks episodes
too bad you are going to nerf centurions hesh into the ground!
hesh should be reworked, but not like that
I think HESH should deal regular damage as AP BUT deal far more module damage in return
I remember this music, I love it !
Company of heroes?
@@ItszaGemar no, I talk about the old WoT ost on the background
"...following the last world war"
Recorded before the end of the trilogy.

This old tankie trained on centurions in Catterick early 1959 . Better than driving a car or truck. And you can park it anywhere nobody
I love centurion
me too ^^
If only they kept a Shot Kal Dalet in working condition around for this type of thing
How about making it accurate on the move in game as well? It can't hit anything, unless it is fully aimed in the game
Intéressant. Et comme tank suivant, pourquoi pas le T-34-85 (par exemple)?
8:10 "and here's the round it fiweed"
I miss so much pre-1.0 WoT and this soundtrack...

Где русские субтитры ? Даже Польские есть !
Еще более удивительно, что они имеют турецкий язык раньше русского может быть позже?
Dont let your planed insane changes come to the game. This will destroy our game. Listen to our community for gods sake
