Isn’t yarn just the best thing. Along with piano music scores of course. (And a few other things I won’t mention here) Be interesting to have a round the world “share your stash” and everyone could post a minute video showing their yarn collection. I’m sure there would be some very impressive ones. Starting with yours Katherine. 🦘🌈🎶🙃 A lot of my stash came from my mum and she had some from her mum and her aunts and great aunts. However back then there were no synthetic yarns so some of the wool has been home to silver fish and the like. One ball I tried was 2oz (imperial back then ) and 100%wool and there was no piece longer than 9 inches, most were about 3". Whatever insect it was had had a lovely time. The insects way of crafting. Who am I to criticise.. hmm well. Hmm. 🦘🌈🎶🕷️🪰🦂🦟🪳🐑
@Soffity Hello there How are you ? I havent as far as I know got any yarn left that was my Mums but do have her knitting needles some hooks and buttons and sewing basket I gave my Sister the button box but she doesnt knit or crochet so thats why I have the needles and hooks It took me ages to open and look at the knitting needles after my Mum passed but now I am glad I have them
