This is an awesome, well-rounded discussion. Appreciate it.
All that young (the youngest!) talent guided by the reigning COY. Nice combo.

Great show and one of my all time favorite pods. Always insightful analysis so I actually learn a lot. And the chemistry between Justin, Woz and Rob is incredibly fun. It's like hanging out with friends talking about hoops. Kirk was great as he was on Bill's pod when I first listened to him. Also super knowledgeable and great takes. But Woz' s presence was definitely missed. Like I said before, the chemistry you all have and the camaraderie is very difficult to find or replicate. Thank you so much for the excellent content.

I get so annoyed hearing people dog bis defense. Everyone gets beat backdoor from time to time. Everyone loses their man off ball at time.
I just watched Caruso get back doored several times in the last game.
SGA is a very good defender and creates chaos and leads the league in deflection the last 2 years.

I’ve had season tickets for OKC since the 1st season they arrived in 08, and this team over the last 2 seasons is has been my favorite team since the 2012 Finals team with a young KD, Westbrook, Harden, and Ibaka. That team will always be special because it was in that honeymoon phase after the franchise relocated to OKC, but this teams brand of basketball is much more enjoyable to watch. Don’t get me wrong the 2012 was amazing too, but it was a lot of isolation. It’s like KD, Westbrook, and Harden just took turns going 1 on 1, and their chemistry wasn’t great either. It seemed like KD and Russ and sometimes Kendrick Perkins were always beefing about something, but this crew seem to really enjoy playing together. What’s crazy is sometimes I’ll catch a game for their G league team and there’s guys on that team that would be playing for many teams or at the very least be a bench guy, but the Thunder are so deep they don’t have a spot for them on their bench. They’ve got a long runway with this team. They’re young, they’re deep, they’ve got good prospects on their farm team, and they have a ton of draft picks. They could easily be looking at a 10 to 15 year window as a title contender.

Chet doesn't always get into foul trouble. Chet is one of the best bigs in the league of defending without fouling.
He only Commits 2 fouls a game. Sounds like someone doesn't watch the games.

Said the same thing about them and the Wolves. Mike Conley healed and reated this summer by not playing ball after a long playoff stretch. He is playing back into shape. The wolves are 2nd in 3 pt % and 4th in total 3's made. We dont have a floor spacing issue. Also, we are playing a tight 8 man rotation early as pee our coaches words to get chemistry and figure out which lineups and subs work best. Once they get that figured out they will expand out to 9 or 10 guys.
They just watch highlights and have no clue what is actually going on with any team in the league. They would know more if they asked a legit real fan. Not a biased one. Just a smart intelligent die hard one.

Another insane Thunder fact is that they have the Clippers 1st round pick next year. With PG gone, Kawhi Leonard hurt and disgruntled, and what could very easily turn into a bad season, there’s a chance that Clippers pick could be pretty high. If the ping pong balls bounce in their favor the Thunder could get Cooper Flagg to add to this roster.

I remember Wos having a chat with a guy over a year ago who was over Embid because he kept getting passes that mega stars didn't get.
Wos followed suit after that interview and has been ahead of most NBA pods and media about Joel being Tall Harden.
The way you do anything is the way you do everything, Embid is not and never will be That Guy. Accept this and your disappointment in him will no longer bother you at all.

Alex Caruso is not even shooting the ball at all right now. Last time I looked he was under 20% for three-point shooting and under 30% for field goal percentage.
Even between that and heartenstein coming back, they have more room to grow.

Embiid is great but you can't build your team around him because when you need him most he's always hurt. In the playoffs. Has Embiid every had a healthy year? I can't remember one. There is always something with him. You want him but you can't build a team around him because he'll not be there when you need him. His career up to this point clearly proves it. Worse if he actually plays in the playoffs, he usually comes up small. He pretty much a 7-foot James Harden come playoff time.

Mike Conley did not play ball this summer. He rested. And is now playing into shape.
Wolves are 8th on offense and 8th on defense after tonights loss to Heat. We are fine. And still not even playing all that great as far as chemistry goes. Lol. Lots of over reactions to Wolves. Oh, and we are near top of the league in 3 pt attempts and %. So clearly spacing is not an issue whatsoever. 🤣
