Thanks @DieselLegiance . I've been thinking the same thing. All my logs are screwed in place so I have to remove everything and unscrew them to get to the ignitor, I'm assuming.

Great video. I can actuslly hear clicking and smell gas, but it never lites. Any ideas?
Could be a spark igniter. Try cleaning it and if that doesn’t work it may need replaced?

Any idea if I replace the control box and still nothing? No sparks using the battery backup anymore either.

You should be CAREFUL about these instructions. My 25 year old Heatilator has a similar switch that is full 120V household power.

I have gas turn off/on understand my switch. Does it have to off when no in use and on when in use?
