Man, I'm so stuck with the (.env) that I have no idea how to download it to Collaboratory! the rest is fine but I really don't know to make that happen! how the F do i do that? HELP bro
@@PulsechainVideos I'm on a mac and it was hidden since I saved it as a .env file. Heck if I know why. What I did was created a folder named "env" (name it whatever, it doesn't matter), went into Sublime Text where I was creating and saving the .env folder and saved the .env file in that new "env" folder. I was then able to go into my Finder/search for that "env" folder, open it up, and eventhough the .env file was faded out, I could still see it and I could click and drag it over to the "Files" icon he does in the video. Dunno but that worked for me, hope it helps!!

People need to stop over complicating these by calling them "agents" all that an "agent" is, is basically creating multiple zapier "chat gpt" steps and giving them different prompts to achieve the desired result.
'Agent' seems pretty simple, are people freakin out about them? Seems less complicated than several chatgpt steps with different functioms, I'd say. Let's call them 'Servitors'!!

I had a problem that when i made a .env file it was of type 3dsenv eventhough i didnt specify the filetype as such. Then when i dragged the file onto google collab it wasnt visible.

If anybody has the problem with importing .env file @21:02 - I was able to fix it by defining those two variables in the "Secrets" tab of Colab (the key icon in the left menu). No need for the .env file and no need to load it through load_ext

AutoGen Studio 2 has a decent UI and CrewAI will have one in the near future. I do prefer CrewAI to AutoGen, though. But I imagine AutoGen will pull ahead due to it being Microsoft.
hey just a quick FYI I dont know if you were aware of the secrets in colab but thats what the little key on the left side is to store the secrets just like API secret keys
PSA: If you have an error downloading crewai with pip, try adding --use-deprecated=legacy-resolver at the end of the pip install crewai command. this resolved the dependency error for me
whats missing are agents who can click and browse, iterate 100x different times until they get things right using tools, just like humans do While they do not do that, there is a lot of interation still needed between humans, actually the ones using the tools, and AI which are the short arms advisors who cannot experiment and finish things by themselves autonomously ...
I think to achieve the best ai agents solution we'll be integrating highly specialized LLMs with better and faster response and lower costs. That's the next generation I envision
Would be great for you to do this with some of the open source models locally. I was struggling to get them to consistently use crew 'tools', even with the most verbose instructions and descriptions

I'm stuck at the .env file - I opened a notepad file, entered my API keys, saved it as .env into a folder on my drive, but dragging it from Windows Explorer into the left pane of the Colabs notebook doesn't save the file there. A progress circle appears an completes, but no file appears. What am I doing wrong, please? If I name the file demo.env it uploads, but how do I upload it as .env, or does it not matter?
Im a noob here so i probably dont get the context of your question, so this might be the noobiest responce. I think you are not utilizing the show hidden eye icon because if aI try saving a test notepad file and demo.env it shows up without the need to show hidden files, but for my .env file it shows up once I utilize this icon as the .env will only show up as a hidden file. Its an eye icon in the folder section.
I'm also interested in Gemini/Google AI agents, as Google offerings can always search the internet for current news/research. [Edit: OMG! Why can these agents get current news? I got a 1st July 2024 paper summarisation on 17th July 2024. Serper? Yes. It does Google Searches. Nice one David et al.]

Really nice video but only problem I got is when I try llm=ChatOpenAI(model_name="gpt-3.5-turbo-16k", temperature=0.3) it throws "RateLimitError: Error code: 429" but if use your model_name="gpt-4-turbo-preview" it says I have no access to it can you suggest any suitable model_name that could resolve these.

Hey David, I LOVE AI Agents... but I'm left wondering: Why hasn't anybody developed a system/app that takes the API's from the top LLMs, created agents for each, and then have these agents all work together to brainstorm, debate, review, and solve problems? I often get 4 different answers from 4 LLMs, so why not have them all setup as agents "in one room" working together to come up with the "best" solution. I can't find anybody that's tried this... why not? Wouldn't having the "top minds" (LLMs) working together produce better results?

A.I agents look promising but I'd be impressed if someone can build an A.I agent that can perform advanced level calculus calculations.
Just give it the Wolfram API and it 100% can do that. This is honestly a 30 minute project.

Exactly the same problem for me...
If you're using the free account, you won't have access to gpt-4. You will have to change it to gpt-3.5.
Right now most models aren't being used in everyday life. Where still a couple of years away from a useful agent
