Where should you stay in Tampa, FL if you are just here for a weekend and want to get the most out of the bars and restaurants in the city? I think the best neighborhood for nightlife is Ybor City, just outside of downtown Tampa. So the real question is "Where should I stay in Ybor City?"
Is the Hampton Inn in Ybor City the best hotel in Tampa, Florida? That depends on what you value. If you're planning to spend most of your evenings in Ybor City's vibrant entertainment district, then this hotel is definitely one of the best hotels for convenience and walkability. If you value a clean hotel that is just a few minutes from downtown Tampa, and that's affordable, this could definitely be one of the best hotels for you as well.
However, if you're looking for a romantic, luxurious hotel that's got a great view of the water, or if you're looking for a hotel that is extremely close to the airport, this isn't the hotel for you.
