Hi Ebun! So glad I stumbled on this video. I think you just saved me from making the mistake of applying for a visitor record. I got stuck trying to fill one of the pdf forms which was asking me to choose whether to extend my status as a visitor or restore my status as a visitor. I wasn't sure what to choose, hence, my running to TH-cam. And to think that I was about to hit the submit button loooool. Thanks again, Ebun!

Great video. Please what is the validity of the trv visa applied from inside Canada? Did they subject it to when passport expires or to when your study permit or PGWP expires?

Thank for your video. I sent my passport through Canada post, I would like to know if they send you an email when IRCC receives your passport or they only notify you when they send it again, by the way my passport was taken by a third party, is it normal?

For the letter of explanation, I know it says optional but would you recommend we add it?
Hi!! Well yeah it’s optional but I’m kinda extra so I added a letter of explanation just saying I would like a visa to enable me travel to my home country to visit my family and come back to Canada to work. Also, I stated that I’m working, where I’m working and my salary. So yeah, I always recommend to give more to them - just in case 🙂

@@Ma_heesa Hi!! If your study visa (not study permit) itself is not expired, then you can still use it to travel in and out of Canada. Otherwise, you’ll need to apply for the TRV.
What happens after you get TRV approval. Do u get a sticker in your passport? Do you expect a request for stamping of the sticker ?
