- A once loved garden had got overgrown due to the owner being too poorly to maintain it. We were asked to give it a good cut back so it was tidy and ready for the property to go to market. These types of jobs sometimes need a brutal approach but in time everything will grow back and look great again.
Thanks for watching.
Most people don’t need RHC they just need it looking tidy. You guys did a great job. That type of job gives me the most satisfaction. The customer doesn’t know where or how to start it. Your experience allows you to tackle it with confidence. Great job Nathan
Just that, even if it's the wrong time to trim but it needs it sometimes you just gotta get it done. Cheers 👍👍
You've done a great job there, looks so much better
Cheers 👍 hopefully it'll bounce back and look better again.
Hi, you tackled it spot on. Great job.❤
Cheers 👍 glad you thought it was ok. Thanks for watching 👍
Looks amazing, wonderful job !!!!
Thanks, was an improvement there👍👍 cheers for watching
100% improvement.
Top job buddy. 👍
Cheers 👍 thanks for watching
Good job Nathan, I bet you get a lot of satisfaction out of your job at times. You should be proud of yourself!
Thanks, it's nice to get them done 👍 cheers for watching
A lot of work there, amazing job
Thanks, there was definitely plenty to do at this one. Cheers for watching 👍
Transformed the place mate, nice one 👍
Thanks mate, definitely benefited there from a good cut back👍👍
Great job Nathan, tidy up jobs are hard work, and up in the north east people don’t want to pay for them, keep it up man
Cheers, unfortunately these jobs are too hard on the body and kit not to be charging for them, guess they will when desperate. Thanks for watching 👍
Fantastic job Nathan 👌🏼✂️🍃
Just a good old chop job👍😅
Great job
Thanks 👍
Nice Work Nathan ,I can see the total satisfaction in you , well done mate !
Cheers mate, I thought I looked not so happy with this one😅 how's life treating you down under? Hope all's good with you 👍👍
@@LewisgardenservicesLtd really good thanks we are slowly coming out of winter , well we call it winter😂 Maybe you have a poker face 😂 hide your feelings well lol
@mcpheesgardeningservices poker face is always on🤣 your winters are probably a good summer to us😅
Great job Nathan
There’s always more involved in these jobs than you think 😅👍
Cheers mate, definitely more involved than you think. Saying that tonight's one involves a digger and that made it less involved 😅👍
It is a beautiful garden, it look open and clean now. I am sure he will het a buyer. Thank you. God bless
Thanks 👍 much more open and hopefully inviting for potential buyers. Cheers for watching
we had a similar job recently, very overgrown garden, it looks like a hack job, but its not, its a long term job, it will looks so much better over time, and for us with regular maintenance, nice job matey👍🤛
These jobs definitely are long term projects after being neglected. Hope you and Sam are having a good week
Thank you for showing more of your work. Unlike that 5 minute Superman job that you did a few weeks ago.😉 And the hedges were amazing 💚💚💚
Thanks and thanks for not getting bored after my usual 5 mins😅 hopefully it'll spring back to life there now 👍
That let some light in! Oh the garden looks bigger 😅 Lots of tasks there mate. I appreciate the energy that goes into them jobs. Especially with them steps and moving debris out. Great job 👍
That's the usual comment ls after a good cut back 😅👍 everywhere has steps lately 🙄😅👍
Tidy work mate, as you say, a month's time it will look lush again, I see lot of people wanting to do Tidy ups, but they really don't understand that you need 2 of everything, as you say it's very hard on kit and if it doesn't break them, it shortens its life span, hope life is treating you well mate 👍
Life better thanks Jason 🤞 definitely need sacficial and spare kit on these jobs 👍
It looks a lot better now 👍
Thanks 👍👍
Real neat , brilliant
Cheers 👍 thanks for watching
Hi Nathan. I hope you are well. I couldn't agree more with your quoting tips. Nothing worse than potentially ending up in the red with a job due to damaged gear. Especially after solid graft to achieve those results.
I certainly don't want to damage my 66, I can tell you that much.
Always allow for the things you don't see, extra time and kit issues😬 neighbours are a big factor too on some jobs so I always sweet-talk them 😅 give the 66 til winter and I'm sure you'll be chucking it into everything 🤣 thanks for watching 👍
I already have 😂
Satisfying as usual mate. I still have kit envy and the price is right but people still dont understand why the cost is high sometimes. Working so hard in this heat isnt fun but i cant help myself lol. All the best.
They can be tough on kit and the body these ones. Cheers and thanks for watching 👍
Did my hedge and lawn with frazer 2 weeks again Nathan.by the time we finished we were both absolutely shattered my job is hard but your job is hard in a different way .People need to realise how hard a job like that really is mate 👍🏴
Sure you did a great job👍 funny how our bodies get used to our work, if I did a day laying paving etc I'd suffer twice as much as you guys as like you say it's a different thing but equally tough. Cheers Justin 👍

Spot on Nathan 👍🙌
Well, my word. She's a right rough BEASTIE yard to tackle. Yeah, burn and turn! This should have 5 people blasting through the triming and pruning. I'm impressed with your methods to tame each section - what a job!🎉
Thanks for that and it was more than it looked there to tackle. Cheers for watching 👍
Great work Nathan 👏👍
Cheers mate👍 thanks for taking the time to watch
As always nath" a fab job, it can be dis' heartening when you see a jungle before uou an knowing where yo start!!!! But as always uou an your staff reign supreme!!! Great new self management frame if mind we need to look after ar selves plus this may sound daft but bear with me. " Are tools need a break as well"
Thanks and a healthy work balance if what I'm all about now hopefully 🤞 cheers 👍👍
Looks great!
Thanks 👍👍
Excellent job
The stihl ear defenders your using are they good at blocking out sound from machines
They're good but I'd say I've had better ones that don't have the Bluetooth but mostly I'm using battery gear so ok. Thanks for watching 👍
That was'nt butchery you got the shrubs, hedges back into shape.
Not easy,on a steep incline,with a ladder
Looks like you knew it was a cared for garden once.
You did right, you have to be cruel sometimes to be kind.
Leaving it for a fews days, freshenies the mind after a hard week.
Top job,to your helper.
Look forward to to the end result.❤
Thanks and you're right, sometimes you just have to get them back into shape. Thanks for watching 👍
makes a big difference when someone is following you clearing up nath.its the part i hate now as i get older 😏 nice job 👍them Mahonia are spikey barstuarts.
Sorry mate, I did reply but my reply didn't seem to show up here. Definitely helps having someone doing some clearing up. Hope you're keeping well mate 👍👍
@@LewisgardenservicesLtd no panic it happens mate 👍😊
Nathan you canna tickle places like that as you say you have to go in and hit it hard the place was crying out for it lad good job 👍
Definitely just gotta lay into them😅you doing well mate?
@LewisgardenservicesLtd All good Nathan kept busy so can't complain 👍
✨🏆✨
👍 thanks
How long approx do the Sthil battery hedger last.
We talking battery life or the machine? 3/4 hours out of an ap300s roughly and I get 18 months out of a machine but work them hard 😬
How much did you charge for this job?
What you recon🤔
@@LewisgardenservicesLtd £360-£450. Waste dumping would cost you £40-£60. Your employee would cost £70-£100. Your pay should be £150-£200. And you other overheads £90-£100
@lookingfortrouble6970 mmmmm maybe a good few years ago but in 2024 running a business that wouldn't touch the sides
@@LewisgardenservicesLtd really? So you charged over £500? You deserve every penny, you did a great job. I respect if you don't want to say how much you charged but I do think it's an important part of the content and it helps us know how much we should be paying or expect to pay for this service.
@lookingfortrouble6970 I get you but the jobs are never fully shown, pre treatment for weeds etc and everyone has different costs so it's a difficult one
