    Megan only has biological sons in the house so there would be no dresses or girls clothing in the house, so there would be no way her son could "pick out" dresses to wear. She has to be going out buying dresses and presenting them and telling her young impressionable son's to "pick out" what you want to wear and there is nothing wrong with anything you "pick out". Now the boys are confused and she's sending her sons off to school to be ridiculed for wearing dresses and they're not even transgender. That's child abuse.

    • @perrygilbert8276
      @perrygilbert8276 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Or maybe he just sees his mom wearing dresses and he asks her to wear one or sneaks and puts them on. Then when Megan catches on that he likes dresses, she goes out and buys him dresses. If that’s the case that’s not child abuse, that’s just paying attention to your child’s interest.

    What's the problem with Megan letting her son wear dresses? If it's his choice, she's helping him be more confident with who he is. She's raising them to believe in who they are and be who they want to be. She is a great mother. She's not /making/ them wear dresses. Megan has two other sons who don't wear dresses or, "dress like girls." It doesn't make him queer or defines his sexual orientation in any way. Noah just likes wearing them.

      If not, why not?
      Oh, I see you like to pick and choose what is relevant to your argument.
      Here is an excerpt on this topic:
      "The main reason for keeping boys in dresses was toilet training, or the lack thereof.[4] The change was probably made once boys had reached the age when they could easily undo the rather complicated fastenings of many early modern breeches and trousers. Before roughly 1550 various styles of long robes were in any case commonly worn by adult males of various sorts, so boys wearing them could probably not be said to form a distinct phenomenon. Dresses were also easier to make with room for future growth, in an age when clothes were much more expensive than now for all classes. The "age of reason" was generally considered to be about seven, and breeching corresponded roughly with that age for much of the period. The many portraits of Balthasar Charles, Prince of Asturias (1629-1646), son of Philip IV of Spain, show him wearing breeches from about the age of six."
      I am not for social norms, by any means, but to pretend that this is somehow normal, in your lifetime, is ludicrous...you are really grasping at straws,

So many celebrities have transgender kids, it’s amazing how concentrated the transgendered child community is in and around Hollywood. They may want to test the water, it’s statistically unlikely to have that many. I bet places like Nebraska, Pennsylvania, North Dakota, Iowa don’t have the same likely hood of having so many transgendered children, especially in one family.

      It’s one thing to be supportive and another thing to offer your guidance as a parent. She’s not guiding her child. It’s your job as a parent to tell your child what’s suitable and what isn’t. Fact is that Boys do not wear dresses. Her allowing him to go to school in a dress is opening the door for kids to mock him unnecessarily. Sure he may like to wear dresses but why does he have to wear them to school? I’m sure he likes to wear other things that are more suitable. He can play at home in the dress if he wants to. My son loved his super Mario costume and watched to wear it all day everyday everywhere we went. But I as a parent, told him he couldn’t wear it outside because it wasn’t halloween and he’s not a plumber 😂.. lol.. He was upset at first but was ok with it and as soon as he would get home he would rush to it. Eventually that fad went away and he looks back at pictures and remembers stories I tell him and he thanks me for not allowing him to walk around like that. You as a parent have to make the right decisions for your child, they are children for gods sake. They are impressionable and gullible and really confused and need guidance.

    200 years ago it was completely normal for men to wear face powder, wigs, and stockings. Clothes mean nothing. They are a social construct and what society considers fashionable for each gender changes all the time. Let kids wear what the hell they want to wear. What I don't agree with is allowing your child to believe he or she is the opposite sex. That crosses the line into a complete rejection of what you actually are and supports self loathing. You can be a boy who likes wearing dresses and makeup but you are still a boy. You can be a girl who likes wearing suits and ties but you're still a girl and there is nothing wrong with that. Clothes can be changed. Your biological identity cannot. Children should be taught to love themselves no matter what they are. If they decide in adulthood that they want to undergo sexual realignment surgery or hormonal therapy that is entirely up to them and they should not be judged for it. But I don't agree with parents who would allow their son/ daughter to think they are not male/female because they desire to be the opposite sex for whatever reason.

      @Fitness Girl The child is not gay. The parents are projecting their confusion onto the child. He doesn't possess the cognitive ability to make any distinction on sexual identity. It's the same with children pretending to be cowboys and cowgirls. They are simply roll playing, not demonstrating sexual identities. The only reason why people are claiming the kids enjoy these reversals, is because the adults are gay themselves. This particular woman happens to be bisexual and so is Angelina Jolie, who also has confused her children.

    I wish you'd been my Mom. I'm 32 and you're 33 so there's no way that could work.. but when I started wearing and skirts and dresses, my Mom had a huge problem with it. She even uninvited me to the wedding of her second husband because she was worried that I might come in a skirt or a dress. She blamed her new husbands family and said something to the effect that "they wouldn't understand". And then the very next time I saw a member of this family, I was wearing a skirt. And ya know what happened? This guy (a member of the family) said he liked my skirt.. So at first I get a positive response.. and then for the rest of the day.. no one else in the family said anything that even suggested that they had a problem with what I was wearing. My Mom was the one with the problem all along.
    It's cool to hear that Noah is becoming more comfortable with what he likes to wear in the face of people who will probably be embarrassed when they get older about the way they currently treat him. I'm fortunate in that I found both male and female friends in my 20's who had nothing against me wearing skirts and dresses and tights. One of these friends (who is a guy) even did up my pink princess dress from the back before a party we were all going to. So my advice to Noah is for him to keep being who he is and stick with the people who accept and love him as that person.
    When I was younger it struck me as inevitable that over time, marijuana would become legal. And over time, that's what's been happening. And now it strikes me as inevitable that although (like with marijuana), some people will take a little longer to catch up, more and more people will turn on to the idea that it's okay for boys / girls / women / men to wear whatever they want without being hassled for it.
    Good on you for being a good parent. Some parents get all "what will the neighbors think!?!" but you're putting your son first and not getting caught up in other peoples small mindedness. This is a great thing to see.

Teaching boys to hate everything feminine and then being shocked that they hate women later on isn’t something to be shocked about. Yashamaga 13 why is it his fault though like whether or not he gets made fun of why is the blame never put on the kids doing the bullying? what if he goes into adulthood still choosing to express himself this way, then what? is he just supposed to suppress it and not be who he is? suppression like that usually lends to depression and/or suicide. i don’t understand the issue if he is choosing to do it, many young trans adults and older trans people would give anything to have had their parents accept them that young or at least let them express themselves because its crucial to mental health and often times their entire life. however none of us live in the house so none of us can really have a full opinion anyways

      Pickle eater4000 Gaslighting at its finest. You really claim transgenderism is just wearing a different “cut of fabric” 😂😂😂
      People have woken up, The whole “some people did some thing” approach don’t work any more. You wanna debate the issue, let’s speak, but if you’re gonna try belittling the issue into absurdity you’re only gonna make yourself look like a clown.

    • @Pickleeater3000
      @Pickleeater3000 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Wallychans transgender people have been around since the beginning of time, our 21st century culture doesn’t give a fuck about what people that have been dead for 100s of years now considered menswear and women’s wear. This little boy has not stated he’s a female but yet you assume because he’s wearing a typically female cut of cloth that he must be trying to be female. No. Children don’t care about stereotypes and society rules and you seem so dependent on.
      This is not a gender issue or a perverse way to corrupt our youth, this is the beginning of a new society that doesn’t tell children how to act and lets them naturally develop how they want to. You sir or ma’am must’ve been raised to thinks certain way about your gender and what you must convey to be that. To fit the role society try’s to put you in. This little boy does not have to so take your bitterness and write a book. Throw some rocks into a lake and watch them sink maybe think about your personal traumas that make you so against new age thinking and progression.
