    What can you say as regards hinging of discontinuous edges of beam.
    What is the implication if it isn't hinged.
    Can you give a detailed explanation please

    what if those beams that span into other beams you release their moments, make them pin-ended?

      Yes. The options is available. I mentioned it in the video preceding this.

      Defining as point load. Option of changing end condition for beams in the software gives you another challenge entirely when it is concrete model

    From your explanation, the best option is to put the rigid zone in none since it's a little bit more than your manual design

      Well, it depends on your design assumptions and you execution intent.
      So if it is your normal concrete construction then the option of none gives likelihood of your expected values close to doing the design manually.
