Excellent tutorial -- thank you! I didn't feel like writing and spent instead some time going through your vital tutorials and making my own sfx -- am thrilled and excited to use these and feel one step closer to getting the sounds I have in my head into my trailer tracks. When you started pulling in your own samples to vital, as a preset junkie and with a very basic understanding of how to navigate around the synth -- that was a gamechanger moment for me....I started experimenting with some sounds I've had sitting unused for years to great results that I'm so happy to call my own. I'm going to make time to do more of these sound design sessions -- what a great way to make custom signature sounds I'll have ready to go! Your tutorials are really saving me some money this black Friday season :) I do hope you continue with what you are teaching here -- inspiring and top notch!

Thanks a lot for this comment. I'm always when happy when people try out the stuff that I put in my tutorials and start getting the results they want. Keep going! :)

    Brilliant tutorial.
I need these sounds so much in my techno productions and often spend too long trying to find samples that suit.
Great use of Vital which every self respecting producer has.
    Thankyou!!!!

Great video, very useful. I have enjoyed saving some "SFX Generator" Vital presets to be used like this. For when you need something quick and easy, but still keeping it original and new.

Yeah, and once you start layering the results you will have even more possibilities. :)

Hi, it's okay, I just discovered the channel and I've just subscribed. I'm from Brazil and I don't speak English, so it's a little difficult to follow the content. Would it be possible for you to tell me the name of this program and how much it costs, please? Thank you very much in advance, and a big hug!

The synthesizer I'm using is called Vital and it's fortunately free. :)
The digital audio workstation is called Ableton Live and is quite expensive in its full version (Ableton Live Suite) but you can use Vital with cheaper programs such as "Reaper" as well.
      I hope this helps. :)

How are you "bouncing" the different flavors?

Another great and useful tutorial. When you reverse and clip the end, do you have a very short fade (10 ms or less) to avoid pops? Or is it not necessary?

    • @NGTVST
      @NGTVST  ปีที่แล้ว +1

Thank you! Yes, sometimes it's to avoid clicks, but it's also become a bit of a habit of mine - it's definitely not necessary in every instance (in Ableton there is even a setting for this, so fades are automatically created at the edges of audio files). :)

What a goldmine! Going over all of your vids - A sound/tutorial a day. Perfect way to get pro in sound design, master Vital
and beef up my sound bank
Really top level and super deep - Thank you thank you thank you!
Btw: why your Audio sample options looks a little bit different? Transpose instead of Pitch and etc..
    Btw 2: Thank you! :D

      Thanks a lot! :)
I think I've only seen it called "Transpose"; not sure if there is some version out there where it's called "Pitch". :o

@@NGTVST oh ok, Im with 11.3.4 and its "Pitch" I thought maybe Im missing some kind of more detailed mode or something.
Anyway, cant say enough how your channel is valuable. Doing a sound per day following your vids :D Its great
