- Kamala Harris has had a cringefest of a week on the talk show and podcast circuit. The Presidential nominee has finally emerged from hiding and this week spoke to the Call Her Daddy podcast and television shows The View, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and 60 Minutes.
Kamala Harris was blasted for these largely lighthearted and fluffy appearances with commentators suggesting it’s tone deaf in the wake of monster hurricane Milton approaching Florida forcing millions to flee their homes.

to be fair, all politicians put campaign front-and-center when it is that time. Ron Desantis was fairly pilloried for this in the primaries BUT he was forced to drop out regardless, so Florida was not deprived of its governor for long. Difference is, he is a person with many qualities worth respecting. I cannot think of anything good about Harris to compensate.
So if you follow the logic of RWNJ commentators, Harris is BOTH responsible for the hurricane response and NOT in charge of anything to do with the hurricane response (quote, Desantis justifying why he didn't take her call)
