@@theonewinged630senton5 i think its worth it, dubov already lose 2 rooks but threatening checkmate..with that line dubov must trade the queen or he will getting checkmated..the game will continue with fabi's rook+bishop against dubov's knight+bishop, and fabi have plus 2 pawn, that will be easy win at super GM's level..
I noticed that too. Incredible that this Elite players miss these things when in time trouble, they're human after all. Was either mating or entering a much better endgame had he done that.

queen to g4 would have forced a trade of queens. So insted of taking tbe knight favi could have got the queens of the board.@@usurpchess

Rd8+ Bxd8 Qe8+ Kh7 Qxe4+ g6 (if Kg8 or Kh8: Qe8+ Kh7 Qh5+ Kg8 Re8 Checkmate) Qb7+ Kg8 or Kh8: Re8 Checkmate. That’s not so hard to see. It shows, that Caruana does not have good nerves, considering he’s down to 10 seconds, when the position arrived.
If Niemann would have played here the title would have been: „Niemann blunders his Queen and loses the game after a totally winning position!“ Apparently it´s ok when Fabi does it…
Stop pretending that Hans’ name is worthy of being in the same sentence as Fabi’s.

Dubov is somehow so incredible at blitz however isn’t even known for classical or rapid.
Dubov had a top 10 finish even in Rapid section. And he is 2700+ even in classical.
Just that Fabi is not extremely good in shorter time controls, like he is in classical.

I would say Dubov is known as like top 40 in classical, and top 10-20 in rapid/blitz
