Motocross is 90% rider, 8% bike and 2% luck. My lap times at budds creek were under 5 seconds difference regardless of what bike I was on. 125, 250, 250f and my hare scramble bike KDX200.
@@tomatoknuckles one if the reasons I ride KTMs. I've had aluminum frames bikes and just like the feel of the steel frame. I also love the last gen rm250. Phenomenal bike. I had an 06 yz250 and that is a good in between and a much better bike than my 95 yz was :)
@@mixalis6168 He's not super tall but I wouldn't say 5'7". On the starting gate he is on his toes on both sides, I'm 6' and I can touch the ball of my right foot and barely touch my toes on the left side. That being said he is probably closer to 5'10

Old Honda's are the only bikes that still look like they could of been made in 2020, all the others have weird pink stickers or purple and look really oldschool

JBlinky67 I believe he did. I remember hearing that’s what caused the switch to Yamaha. In 97 they went to the aluminum frame and he didn’t like it, but they can’t have him riding what was obviously not what Honda was making and selling at the time.
I'm not the biggest fan of the tight jerseys riders wear today either. If I was still riding I'd wear my old loose ones. Haven't felt today's riding pants and if they're any different from early 2000s or not but they were pretty thick and heavy then. Could see them lightening them up a little.
