  • Welcome to the First Impression Review of Yamaha FZs Fi V4. ACI Motors Ltd. has been launched the all-new Yamaha FZs Fi V4 finally in Bangladesh.
Yamaha FZs Fi V4 Price in Bangladesh (+Specification): deshibiker.com...
For the first time, Deshi Biker shot the first impression Review of a motorcycle in outside of Dhaka. Previously, we have made a lot of test ride reviews video on hill tracks and cox's bazar. Hopefully, you will like a lot this Yamaha FZs V4 first impression Review in Cox's Bazar with a lot of dramatic footage. In this review, we have explained the features, current price in Bangladesh, in-depth technology analysis of Yamaha FZs V4.
As far as I know, this is the most frequently upgraded bike in the 150cc sports commuter segment. Yamaha FZs Version 1.0 was followed by massive changes in FZs Fi Version 2.0, especially fuel injection technology that revolutionized the segment. Although the engine has not changed, FZs version 3.0 is given a completely new look. The latest version Yamaha FZs V4 has been made more stylish.
The first change that will be noticed on the Yamaha FZs V4 is the headlight. The LED parking lights are newly designed. The headlamp unit of the Yamaha FZs V4 is more adjustable with the overall design of the bike than Yamaha FZs V3.
And for those who have eyesight problems like me :), good news. Because the headlamp light of Yamaha FZs V4 is quite good. So glass using people like me will see better during night the ride. This headlamp light is sufficient for highway rides as well.
The instrument console is also different from before. Now it gets the same design dashboard as MT15 and R15. You will see data like rev counter, tachometer, fuel gauge, mileage reader, clock, average speed etc.
However, unlike the MT15 and R15, it does not have a gear indicator. Couldn't give a gear indicator because it doesn't have gear indicator sensor. So instead of the gear indicator, the meter has a digital clock at the same location.
I don't think the gear indicator is a very necessary feature for experienced riders. Not a big deal but Yamaha could introduce a gear indicator in this bike.
The new meter is now better visible during the daylight. For the first time, Yamaha introduced the traction control system in their FZS series that was first executed on the R15.
Traction control refers the control of the friction of the motorbike wheels with the road. The ECU collects data through the front and rear wheel speed sensors and the "Traction Control" feature controls it if the front to rear wheel speed or rear to front wheel speed suddenly increases or decreases for any reason.
This can be done by cutting off fuel from fuel injection and shortening the injection timing.
Since FI bikes are controlled by the ECU, there is an opportunity to work with artificial intelligence or machine learning.
Japanese brands put a lot of work into the in-depth of a bike. For example, the Yamaha FZs V4 now supports E20 fuel. That means ethanol blended petrol which contains up to 20% ethanol. As far as I know, the fuel available in our country contains 5% ethanol mix. Up to 20% ethanol in the mix is good for the environment and reduces carbon emissions. Although E20 fuel is not available in our country but one thing we can understand is that these brands think very dynamically and futuristically.
Another new feature is its new LED indicator light. LED lights have replaced the old halogen bulbs and the indicator lights are newly designed, smaller in size.
These are basically the changes. The engine, chassis, design and technology are the same as before. Let's not know the basic features of Yamaha FZs Fi V4.
Yamaha FZs Fi V4 has the same 149 cc single cylinder, 4 stroke, 2 valve, SOHC engine as before. And there is air cooling system to cool this engine. The engine can produce 12.4 PS of maximum power and 13.3 N.m of torque. The transmission has a 5-speed gearbox. The weight of the bike is 136 kg.
Telescopic in front and seven-step adjustable monoshock suspension are provided at the rear. Front 100 and rear 140 section tires are given to get a better road grip. Single channel ABS with double disc brakes and new traction control ensure the best braking system in this segment.
The fully digital instrument console has Bluetooth connectivity.
There is nothing new to say about the performance. Its performance is similar to Yamaha FZs V3. So to know about the performance you can watch the test ride review on the DesiBiker TH-cam channel.
I think it would be better to give a new engine with more power figure. But with daily commuting and comfortable riding as a priority, Yamaha may have kept the previous engine because it is a proven engine for them in terms of longevity & fuel efficiency.
This is not a test ride review of Yamaha FZs V4, how ever we explained as much as possible as this review can be helpful.
    Hopefully, enjoy the review.
