Hasegawaの航空機模型でも赤帯商品（C帯商品）は旧式の製品となり、低価格な上に製作は簡単ですが、墨入れなどが困難な凸モールドが多く、再現が省略されている箇所も多いため、経験者では物足りなさを感じますが、手を加えるとかなりリアルに仕上がることが分かりました！是非最後までご視聴ください！

Among Hasegawa's aircraft models, the red band products (C band products) are old-fashioned products, and although they are low-priced and easy to assembled, there are many convex molds that are difficult to wash, and there are many parts that are not reproduced. Based on my personal understanding, Hasegawa’s 1/72 scale models are generally categorized into five types, with color-coded bands from A to E. These bands reflect differences in price and box size:
• A (Orange) and B (Green): These are the most affordable models, with relatively small boxes.
• C (Red) and D (Blue): These are slightly more expensive, but the difference in box size is not particularly significant.
• E (Navy Blue): These are the most expensive models, with larger boxes compared to the others.
The quality of the contents also varies significantly with the price. For example, as mentioned in the video, the mold details transition from raised panel lines to recessed ones in higher grades.
In addition, the level of part separation differs: the closer the model is to the A grade, the simpler the design. However, in E-grade models, the parts are much more intricately divided, resulting in a significantly higher part count, even though the scale remains the same.

Ever since I watched this video I was wondering about the color band and the letter on the start of each number, because I'm planning to build an F-15C from Hasegawa and there are two choices, the one identical in the video and the F-15C Air Force with a blue band and listed as E13
Now I got curious, where do you get the information about the band and letter? I tried searching but can't see it anywhere since I'm really curious
Also, is the E13 being a blue band more worth it than the version build in this video? Thank you in advance

The E13 F-15 comes with a navy blue band, so it’s more expensive than the F-15 in the video.

Naturally, it has more parts, a larger box, and a significantly higher level of detail.

대략 35년쯤 전에 한국의 어떤 회사가 이 제품을 무단으로 카피(!)해서 판매했었습니다. 제가 아주 어릴 때였는데, 그 시기에 가장 날렵하고 매력적인 F-15 키트로 유일하게 존재하고 있어서 굉장히 설레는 마음으로 만들었던 기억이 납니다. 그 추억을 되살려주셔서 그저 감사할 따름입니다.
그나저나 저 오래된 물건을 패널라인을 죄다 파고 & 접합선 하나 보이지 않게 깔끔하게 만드시다니 약간 경악스럽기도 하고.. 그저 놀라울 따름이네요. 이 영상은 저에게 "감상"이라기 보다는 훌륭한 "강의"입니다. 오늘도 잘 배우고 갑니다 ^^
옛날 키트에는 그 시절만의 매력이 있죠! 35년 전에 그런 에피소드가 있었다는 것은 몰랐지만, 그때의 설레는 추억이 되살아났다고 해주셔서 저도 기쁩니다.
패널 라인을 다시 파고 접합선 처리를 하는 것은 꽤 힘들었지만, 막상 해보니 의외로 재미있었고, 옛날 키트만의 멋을 새롭게 발견할 수 있었던 것 같습니다. 조금이라도 참고가 되었다면 다행입니다!
그나저나 한국에서 정말 많은 댓글을 받는데, 열정적인 모형 팬이 이렇게 많은 것에 놀랐습니다. 모형에 대한 열정이 전해져서, 같은 취미를 가진 사람으로서 정말 기쁘네요.
앞으로도 함께 즐겁게 모형 제작을 이어가요!
