It's pretty decent for the price! It is a little bit hard to get the temperature set correctly so my welds haven't been the best yet. I did find that buying some non harbor freight welding wire for it helped as the stuff I got from there wasn't great.
@potatopopetti I use lincoln flux core wire also the chart on the welder isn't your normal welding chart. So what I do because I weld for a living I set the machine to the chart for the project then turn the heat up just a hair. It helps so much also run your welds down hill I found that this welder does great down hill. I have old roll on ready ramps for my car I used this to weld it the other day and I was very impressed for what this little machine could do for the price. I have a stick welder but when it comes to thin metal this machine hasn't disappointed haha.
