I used a mix of UK TV adverts from the late 1980s and very early 1990s. I tried to use some of the more unusual ones as well as a few many remember in the mix.
I'm from Norfolk, and worked all over the country during this time period.. Wherever I went; people would say "they're bootifull reeeeally bootifull." Fckin hilarious, seeing as I don't have a Norfolk accent
"...Historically, in the UK the term billion meant 1 million million - 1,000,000,000,000 - but in the United States the term was used to refer to 1 thousand million."
3 types of train?!! The one that turns up, the one that doesn't and the one that breaks down!!
Yes thats francis de la tour and the Doctor himself
Some of these ads are much earlier than late 80s.

I like the phone advert followed by John Cleese 😂
Action man . SS officer! Really !? 😂
When we used to be proud to make things in this county
Some adverts were shown in Ireland & worldwide.
89p for 4 Bernard Matthews turkey burgers! Bargain!!😂
The guy in the AC Delco ad looks a lot like Peter Capaldi
It 100% is Peter Capaldi.
3,000 million on new trains… did we not understand billions back in the 80’s…!!???
Even so, that's a hell of a budget for back then.

Was one of those the highly unsuccessful version based on a Leyland bus body?
